Champion 10/22 Metal Head Magazines Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

worked fine for me

I got one of these and it seems to work well. I'm thinking of getting a matching one. I like the metal lips & the clear plastic, so I can easily see how many rounds remain. No feeding issues.

Negative Reviews:

Terrible!!!

I've seen some poor 10/22 magazines in my time, and owned a few myself! This product may be the worst ever! I ordered because of the metal head and metal lips, thinking that it would feed better and last longer, and the clip does fit into my rifle probably the best of any, other than a Ruger stock clip, BUT... It won't feed. The lips seems to be to small for .22 rounds. It was a little hard to load, but when firing, it jammed (not the rifle, the clip itself!) EVERY time. Then was a BIG problem to unload because the clip would not allow the rear of the shell to come up to the top of the lips. You had to pound the clip upside down on the floor to get the shell back up to correct feeding height! I will play with it a little more, but hate to try to "machine" the inside of the lips and metal head to create a little room for the shell to move up correctly. I bought 2 and they BOTH do the exact same thing with 2 seperate kinds of ammo. Winchester HP and Remmington target. Destined to be returned or to the trash bin!!!
