Why did I wait so long?

I saw this bag at a local store last year but I don't tend to like products with visible logos and I wasn't sure it was worth the price. I finally took the plunge when I saw how cheap they were at Campmor and I'm so glad I did. I do a lot of knitting and crocheting and for bigger projects like lap blankets, bags can get very heavy very quickly between the weight of the bag and the yarn. I had been struggling to carry around a few blankets in progress in other bags I own. These bags are absolutely perfect. One blanket and several skeins of yarn fit no problem. It's also great that there are no zippers, hooks, or velcro for the yarn to catch on. The only thing I'd worry about since the bags are slippery is that if you don't keep it upright, things could easily slip out. But overall this is a huge improvement over the other bags I was using!

Just sling it, but don't shoulder it

Sling bag is very useful. Stuff it into its own stuff sack, and pull it out when you need it. Holds manila folders and files. Only problem is that the nylon strap is much too slippery to wear on your shoulder (as a shoulder bag). It will slide off of most any material you are wearing. You have to sling it across your chest. The strap is just right for me (44 chest).

Might benefit from a partition running the length of the bag so that everything doesn't slide to bottom, but then that adds complication to a simple design that works.

Great Bag!

I plan to use these two bags to hold my work clothes and shoes separately. They are placed into my panniers and pulled out once at work. My panniers remain on the bike. It would be great if these bags were made in black as they would blend in more and look more professional in a corporate environment. It would also be gerat if these bags were a little larger and had one internal pocket. There is no need for the extra material on the inside of the bag.

Great for day hikes

I used this bag on a teacher workshop that included day hikes and collecting samples. This bag allowed me to carry everything I might have needed for each day, including rain gear, water bottle, and journal, and to have everything easily accessible. I did have to pin the strap so it wasn't so long.

Negative Reviews:

develops holes easily

I bought two of these bags - one developed a hole within a week, and I only used it three times for groceries, nothing sharp. The other I used once a week for two months and the corner of a sketch pad made a giant hole in the bag. If the material had been more durable these bags would've been great.

Not quite what I was expecting, but it will be great for shopping and for day trips.
