Perfection
This brand new boot by Chinese Laundry will be a huge seller. It's what I've been trying to find for the last 3 fall/winter seasons. It's comfy, nice suede, sturdy shaft (doesn't droop), and a little taller than usual which I just love. Looks great with skinny jeans or leggings tucked in; also perfect with short skirts & tights or long skirts. The silver buckle adds some oomph and the hidden elastic in the top back of the shaft holds jeans in perfectly. Free overnight shipping - as usual, Endless.com rocks. My ONLY complaint is the packaging (by Chinese Laundry, not Endless.com): in a box that was too short, so they were folded in half; this left fold marks in the middle of the shaft & bent edges at the top, but I hung them in the closet for a few days and they straightened right up. Don't know why they couldn't be in a longer box and laid out flat. Other than that...........love, love, love these boots......and I have a LOT of boots!!!
Great boot!
I tried on so many boots and none fit my wide calves but i went online and the reviews on these boots convinced me to try them and im so glad I did! They fit my calves and they look great. A great comfortable boot for fall/winter. I'm not sure if the quality of the boot will last me longer than 2 seasons but at this price I dont expect too much more than that.
Great basic flat black boot for fall/winter!
I always have a pair of flat black boots in my closet for the fall and winter. These are great as they go with nearly every outfit and can be dressed up or down. This is a great style for the coming fall season! My last pair was Chinese Laundry and they lasted me 3 seasons. I'm happy to go back to a brand I know I love! I can't wait to wear them!!
Black suede is beautiful... but...
I got a 7.5 and normally am that size and it is definitely a half size too big, so as I'm walking it feels like its slipping off. Also, the sole heel, as a result of the looseness, has already worn down in just one day of wearing the show (walking all over NY)... HOWEVER, I love the actual calf fit AND the look... Just recommend getting a half size smaller next time.
Hooray! A wonderful gray boot!
I absolutely adore these and am so delighted to have found a cute, flat pair of gray boots that has a wide calf! This met my requirements 100% and it is simply fantastic! The shaft is tall (hate the look of a too-short shaft, as it shortens the legs), the footbed is very comfortable despite no arch support, and it's stylish and very cute! Wow, what a find!
nice addition to boot collection
I didn't have grey colored boots until now. I have big calves & is usually hard to find ones that fit. Not this time. Well made & fit great. Good price. Will come back to Chinese Laundry for other shoes in future
Suede Flat Boot
These boots are great!! When you first wear them some of the dye may come off on your hands so be careful for the first couple of wears. Other than that they fit amazing and are great boots!

Ehhh... not what I thought
This boot looked cute on the website, but once I got these on, the boot was way to slouchy. I thought they would stay up but they immediately started to bunch up around my ankles and looked too sloppy.
Loved the look, not the color
I bought the gray which definitely has a lot of blue. The boots were great, I just couldn't live with the color.

cute but slippery!
These boots are really cute and look great with a skirt or skinny jeans. Unfortunately, I am not keeping them because the heel of the boot is very hard plastic and incredibly slippery. I put them on, went for a stroll around the house, and almost fell rounding the corner into the dining room. If they can take me out on an aging hardwood floor, I can't imagine wearing them out.
