Chota Lost Creek Lug Wading Boots -
Upgraded lace guides make Chota’s Lost Creek wade and portage boots just about as easy to step into as your favorite slippers. Pull on the QuickLace™ systems, hook in, slide the barrel locks down and you’re ready to go. PVC overlays and nylon mesh uppers won’t absorb water, and closed-cell neoprene and nylon-laminated tricot linings shrug off water, too. Rugged molded Rock Guards and heel counters enhance foot support and boost durability. Chota’s Dual Density ATX100 rubber outsoles provide traction over a wide range of wading and trail conditions. Dense rubber-cleat receptacles accept Chota’s optional steel or carbide cleats for additional traction when conditions demand it. The 1/4" EVA footbeds and insoles are removable to provide you with more wear options, such as creating more room for stockingfoot waders. Microscreen drains and full-tongue gussets allow for rapid drainage while blocking scree. Imported.
Height: 7.5".
Average weight: 3.4 lbs./pair.

Chota Lost Creek Lug Wading Boots Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Nice Sturdy Boots

I used them to fish "freestone" (maybe boulder would be more accurate) streams in some fairly rugged areas in the southern Rockies. Provided excellent traction and support for getting in to the streams. In the streams, tread gripped well on rougher rocks, but more worn volcanic rocks were quite slick. Have not tried the studs yet. Provided excellent protection of the feet and ankles. Sturdy and well made.

Chota lost creek lug boots

Fished up in the high seireas rush creek with these new boots and they held up great. the best part for me was the ease of tieing up the laces what a great invention just cross the laces and push the ball down and go fishing. AWSOME

Negative Reviews:

Buy the STL Plus instead

Worst wading boots I've ever worn. Taking them back to the Springfield store ASAP. Soles are a serious slipping hazard and four of the mounts for screw-in studs broke off on the first day. These are NOT an improvement on the STL Plus's - best boots I've ever worn. Sooooooo disappointed!!!
