Positive Reviews:

Excellent quality combo!!

I purchased the 24" ultralight for perch and panfish. I have not been disappointed. The wide spool lets line to fall off effortlessly no matter how light of a jig you put on and it has the backbone to tackle the jumbo perch and nice sized trout, as well as any bluegill or crappie that I have caught so far this season. It has a very sensitive tip and feel for those light biting perch here in the Black Hills. It does not freeze up in below zero temps and remains fluid. I would highly recommend this combo for any panfish/trout application.

No thanks

I grabbed the first rod off the shelf and made it half the way to the register before I realized that the drag was not working. I purchased a different true blue rod that day, when I got home I realized the guides were not centered on the rod. The guides actually slightly spiraled up the blank. I retuned it, bought a fenwick elite tech for $30 and put a micro spin reel from a summer rod on it. I can't say that all of these combos are flawed but I am definitely not purchasing this combo ever again put your money into a nicer set up and I think that it will be worth your time.
