Positive Reviews:

My son liked these a lot. They are a bit on the casual side so can be worn with anything. his brother is now asking for a pair, thy are college students. Preferred these over the dressier version from J.Crew.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves them! He is complimented all the time. They look very expensive and the leather is beautiful. Sizing is pretty accurate.

Great shoe. Very comfortable, a bit stiffer than my desert boots at first, but after wearing a few times they are fine.

Negative Reviews:

The shoes looked great on the website and when I first received them. After about two weeks of wear, the leather/suede material just does not hold up. It appears the break in was over 6 months instead of two weeks, and one of my laces even broke. I am an IT professional and do not put much stress on my shoes. I got a second pair of these shoes just to rule out that I got a bad pair, but the second pair did the same exact thing. One other annoyance--the insole only goes half the length of the shoe and then cuts off as if I wasn't supposed to notice! The soles of the shoes are made out of a soft sponngy-rubbery material. Brand new the soles were white and felt good. After 2 weeks, they turned blackish from walking outside. Due to the softness of the soles, the toes and heel both show signs of serious wear after TWO weeks. I thought Clarks was a reputable brand, but after trying out these shoes, my loyalty will lie elsewhere.
