Very nice for the money

Easy to inflate with my high volume hand pump. Pick up a 3 inch piece of fllexible rubber hose at the hardware store that fits snug on the bladder valve and tapered pump fitting to make the connection. Not sure why that is not provided. Very easy to get in and out. I like the bar across the front of tube to help stablize the 2 pontoons from collapsing inward under your weight while in the water. Foam seat is good unless you need it to deflate to fit in a backpack. Shoulder straps on underside make it easy to carry fully inflated to fishing hole. light weight. Very comfortable once you take the time to adjust the seat properly. Best if you position the seat a little forward instead of reclined. If you recline the seat position it will cause the boat to sit back in the water and your flippers tend to come out of the water too much. Adjust the seat forward to balance the float tube and it works much better. Love the area behind the seat with the net bottom. Works as a live well for small pan fish or place to keep a small ice chest. Seems to be good quality. Time will tell if it us durable. I would rate it a 5 instead of 4 if I knew how it will hold up over time. Until then, it is a 4. However, it earns a 5 for features and construction even when compared to higher cost tubes. FYI: Rides high in water but requires "chest" waders unless you want a dose of ice cold water down your waders every now and then. Invest in a good set of flippers to control the tube in wind.

Nice mountain boat

I have used this product the last couple of summers packing it into many of MT's mountain lakes. It is light and easy to pack, enough storage to pack gear when the pontoons are deflated. I wish the straps were a little wider, but its really not that bad.

Design Flaws

Okay, I've been using float tubes since the early 90's. My own and other peoples. I'm a serious fly fisherman and am on the water at least 100 days a year.
Wanted a new U-boat. Togiak had a good price and nice design. I don't mind the foam in the bottom, though I won't be putting this in my backpack.
Good: Seams (except for one 2" area are double stitched. Lots of storage space. And more storage.
Not so good: I'm concerned about the "sharpened" pieces of PVC for the spreader tube. Foam blocks make it less compact for packing in. Also, though there are backpacking straps included. You would not want to wear them more than 100 yards. No padding and they'll cut into you. Non-standard inflation valve makes it a pain to inflate with a pump and this is so much more than I want to do by mouth.
Bad: Seat is set too far back. This combined with the lack of bladder behind you tilts you back to far, as much as 25 to 30 degrees. This brings your feet up higher causing more time with your flippers coming out of the water. More noise to scare the fish and really uncomfortable. Additionally, if you happen to be 5'7", the sharp edge of the top of the seat back will dig in under your shoulder blades. I was rubbed raw by this through my shirt.

Wish I bought something else

It's not comfortable at all if you like to spend more than an hour fishing. Due to the lack of rigidity in the back, I felt like I was getting pinched by the bladders. Almost seems like your in a taco. The seat also makes you tilt back which makes it hard to maneuver around and cast with a fly rod.
