| Most of the Clif bar varieties hold up really well, whether in a saddle bag on the trail, or in my karate equipment bag at tournaments. On the trail they provide a lightweight, quick, and tasty snack (my horse looks forward to getting the last bite). At tournaments I will have a Clif bar about an hour before competing to give me a great boost of energy. One minor drawback for my uses - the chocolate covered bars tend to melt and get a little messy. My wife (also a trail rider) travels daily in home health care and often uses Clif bars for a quick lunch, or as a pick-me-up in the afternoon when her day runs long. Between us we go through 12-20 bars a month. Value is so-so, but still better than most other brands I've tried. I only buy them when they are on sale or have a volume discount. |

Better than eating sticks and acorns! |

| Hey, cliff bars are one of the precious few that doesn't taste like a mixture of drywall and swamp mud. But being an energy bar you do need to drink some water during or after you eat it. Otherwise you'll wish you did. Its a good pick-up for day trips or kayaking when space is an issue and you don't want to scare your friends off when you tell them you'll be making lunch with your MSR pocket rocket and a bag of unidentifiable freeze dried product. Besides like starbucks and coolness, just holding one in your hand will make you look like the sporty adventurer you realy are! |

Doesn't taste like an energy bar |

| I normaly don't eat energy bars because they taste like tree bark, but these are really good. The first time I tried these was on a hike down Bright Angel at the Grand Canyon. I picked a couple up at the lodge and wish I had gotten more. The taste is by far better than any other bar out there. I now keep them around just for every day. The only drawback is they are a little pricey, but most energy bars are expensive and don't taste nearly as good. |

Best tasting energy bar! |

| Cliff Bars are the best tasting bar. Some of the others are horrible. These I actually look forward to eating. There are a lot of flavors to choose from. My favorite is the peanut butter chocolate chip. My wife loves the oatmeal raison. We like quite a few of the flavors. They are handy for hikes, day trips, a snack when working late, and even as emergency sustinance in the car. |

Great tasting and filling |

| This is mainly a review of the Crunchy Peanut Butter, of which I love. The others like the Brownie and Chocolate Chip are pretty good as well. I tried my first Clif bar about 2 years ago, which is ridiculous because I have always been very active. I am now a convert. I do wish there was a little more protein in it though. |

Clif Bars are the best! |

| I've tried a bunch of different bars, but these ones are my favorite. I burn a lot of calories running, so I keep these handy for whenever I start to feel sluggish between meals. They are chewy, and I think it's best to drink some extra water whenever I eat a bar, but overall they have great taste and texture. |

Great Snack! |

| This product is a great extra when hiking, paddling, or when you need something better than a Snickers after a workout. It is dense and tough going but it tastes good and makes an easy snack on the trail. It is easy to tuck several of these around your pack and make for a nice change from trail mix. |

| I really like the peanut butter cliff bars. I bought them for a backpacking trip and I loved them. However, some of my other group members did not like their taste or texture. My recommdation is to buy one first to make sure you like before buying a lot of them. |

| I use these every time i go outdoors. They provide me with sustained energy and fill my stomach so i can concentrate on what i am doing. I love the banana nut, any chocolate flavor, mint, and carrot cake. My buddie only eats these on backpacking trips! |
