When you're sweating up a storm on the hiking trail, sweet and chewy goodness just isn't enough—your body practically begs for salt. Clif Bar made the Mojo Bar with nuts, soy, peanut butter, natural sugars, and pretzels to satisfy both your sweet and savory tooth, add some crunch, and give you energy-sustaining protein. Plus, 70% of the Mojo's ingredients are organic, and Clif Bar didn't use any trans fats. So grab one or 12.
I use these as race and training foods for long events. I actually look forward to eating these, like back in the day when I used to take cookies with me for fuel. They beat the bonk and don't make you feel sick or bloated. Whomever thought up this recipe did a great job. I think they should add "race and training" to the list of "recommended uses". ;-)
The Mojo bars taste great and provide lots of energy for all outdoor activities. I always keep some on me while skiing fishing or biking. They are enough to sustain you for short overnight trips if you bring 4 or 5, or are a great snack inbetween meals on longer backpacking or camping trips. A go to if you need a little pick me up on the trail.
These are delicious, but kinda fragile for backpacking or hiking (breakage, stickiness, and melting), so I use them in my desk drawer at work or keep them around the house, the car, wherever, for when I need a snack or light meal. The flavors are all pretty good, with the Peanut Butter Pretzel (not a "dipped" variety) being my favorite...
These are my go to bar. I like the salty sweet mix and even when it's a two a.m. alpine start and I'm a bundle of nauseous nerves, the mojo sounds delicious!!! Also, major props to a Clif for sourcing as many organic ingredients as possible. My body isn't exactly a temple but every healthy little bit helps!!!
These are really good. The chocolate almond coconut is great. I like the trail mix also, but the dipped chocolate peanut- not listed here, is out of this world! And, it only has 200 calories! Just keep in mind it will melt on hot adventures. I will take one of these over a candy bar any day!
Mojo bars are simply the best! a bit tricky to consume while pushing through an endurance race on the bike because they're a bit sticky in the package, but you can count on a few being in my pack or pockets just about anywhere. Good energy, great taste. Honey Roasted Nut is my top choice.
Cycling in Florida in the summer you sweat up a storm. These are the Perfect sodium boost!!! Helps me prevent cramping or bonking on long rides, They taste great and fill you up! For hiking, they beat mixing trail mix although i miss the peanut m&ms!!!
HAHAHA just kidding! My girlfriend bought these because our dogs name is MOjo! These kick ass just like our pup! Super filling but still lighter in the gut than most of the other bars out there. I can eat these all day every day!
These are a glorified "sweet and salty" bar. I like the original, but clif gives more options and a nice gooey texture. These bars have some substance and a nice crunch to sticky factor which a lot of other bars don't have
I love these mojo bars, they are a great blend of sweet and salty. Mojo bars are not like regular Cliff bars, these are a bit smaller and not as filling. Chocolate does melt in hot temps.
