I've tried on a few styles of insulated vests over the past year because I will be moving to Seattle soon. Most were just too puffy and big (e.g. TNF, MH), and others that were slimmer had major gapping problems in the armholes or flared funny at the waist (e.g. Marmot). The fit is slim while leaving room for a sweater underneath, and the lack of major quilting provides a longer and more streamlined visual effect. I'm 5'3 and around 118 lbs and the XS is perfect. It is lightweight, stuffs small, and the collar can be worn up or down. I only wish it came in more colors (dark brown/black) because I would get a second one. | |
