Cmc Marine Power Tilt/Trim without Gauge Review:

Absolutely solid product

Bought this unit for an older Evinrude 55hp when the factory trim wore out and unable to find replacement. Unit is everything I expected it to be and more. Extremely well build and solid made of high quality materials. Performs well as both trim unit and setback plate. Only fault is that it is not possible for the wiring harness to meet the lengths needed by everyone. They terminate every wire, switch wires, battery leads and trim unit wires. I had to shorten the switch wires and lengthen the negative battery lead and the trim unit wires. Might be better for them to supply the harness with longer lengths on all wires and let the customer cut and terminate for themselves. But this really is a small issue and the product quality and performance is great.
