Coal V-Neck Gaiter Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I have tried many different neck gaiters throughout the years and the they all have the same problem... They are hard to breath through! This one is really warm on those cold powder days, and has that nice v shape so it stays under your coat and keeps the your neck warm! The downside is it is hard to breath through and the perspiration from your mouth causes the gaiter to freeze. It is a good one though and is one of my favorites for cold days on the mountain!

Negative Reviews:

Similar to the other reviewer I found that this thing was great until I started flying down the hill and wanted to breathe through it. Its a thick fleece fabric which is soft and warm but not breathable. Its perfect for the lift ride up and keeps your neck and face nice and warm, but when you start breathing hard on the way down I have to take it off my face defeating the purpose.
The circumference of the whole thing is small for my face so it is tight around my nose and mouth. If it was a bit bigger maybe I would have enough room to breathe even with the thickness (like a bandanna fits), but since its so tight, no dice. Although you can't breathe through it it still works for neck warmth if thats what you are looking for...

Neutral Reviews:

I've owned a lot of neck gaiters through the years and a lot of them are hard to breath through. This one is on the easier to breath through side but can still be a little difficult if pressed right up to your mouth or breathing hard. It is windproof and will get wet from your mouth breathing on it, but it is super warm, soft, and I like the v-shape and the colors!

I bought the heavier one for colder days and picked up this when it would be overkill. They are a bit thicker than they look and get a tad hard to breathe through. dont buy orange
