OveRxCast is a polarized sunglass designed to be worn over prescription glasses. They are available in three patented frame sizes, so most people can find a size that fits over their prescription eyewear. The frames are designed to completely isolate the eyes from the elements, blocking 100% of harmful UV rays and completely eliminating glare. These over-glasses are extremely popular with fishermen and outdoorsman. OveRxCast is available in polarized gray, a neutral tint that delivers natural color definition-ideal for bright sunny days, amber which sharpens visual acuity, improving depth perception and contrast in variable light conditions and copper that delivers the brightest field of vision to heighten visual acuity and improve contrast in flat light conditions.

I honestly don't know if these glasses have good polarization,as I haven't worn them that much yet nor do I know if I could tell. If the polarizaton is good, they are really a bargain! What I do know is that they fit well over my glasses and they don't look huge or weird. I don't think it is obvious that I'm wearing two pairs of glasses. I bought some for my two sisters for Christmas mostly for their driving. I bought medium-large size for all of us. The glasses I wear under them have rather small lenses.

I think I found a winner!

I have only had these a few days, but I think they are going to work better then the clip-on type I have been using for years. (My Rx glasses are the invisible frames and do not have henges on the earpieces.) I ordered both the medium and med/large because I wasn't sure what size was going to work. Ironically, they are both the same width across, but the mediums have a larger lense area. The med/large lenses are more of a rectangle shape. I am keeping the mediums.

Good choice for wearers of glasses

I've got a few pairs of oversized sunglasses to go over my prescriptions; I've settled on that as the best way to handle my needs to quickly go from polarized sunglasses to clear vision. These are as good as the other two brands I have, and less money. A more comfortable fit for me too; hold snug (but not too tight) to the head so they don't weight down on the glasses as much.

Great glasses for a great price!

I mainly bought these glasses to climb Mt St Helens. They worked perfectly. I bought the med-lrg frame as my prescription glasses are wide. The tint did not alter the natural view, the fit was comfortable, not even noticeable I was wearing them, and they are attractive. Definitely a good buy for the price.

Over the Top

These look great and feel great and work wonderfully. There is no pushing on the glasses or twisting of the glasses to make seeing hard. On the days when I am wearing my glasses I just grab these and go, I use them more often than the clip ons!

Great sunglasses for driving

I'm using these sunglasses for driving and find that they provide better glare protection than my RX sunglasses. I wear my clear RX glasses under them, of course. The tint is dark enough but also light enough so that you can read the dashboard dials pretty well.

Good Purchase!

I have used Cocoons® for a long time and they cost a lot more. They claim to be scratch resistant but I didn't have much luck with them. So, even if these aren't any better, my investment isn't so bad.

Good Value

Good value for the money . These are as good as the fit overs that I paid twice as much for. Ungainly when not on your face. Don't fit well in pockets.

good sunglasses

Black plastic frame seems to flake slightly causing tiny specks on lens that can be hard to remove but they do come off. Not a very big dea.

Negative Reviews:

No improvement other cheaper models

I ordered the largest size model and it still barely fits over standard glasses, and it is not close to providing the amount shade I want and need from the sun. Because it is too small it tends to shift from barely riding in alignment over the glasses to shifting above or below a position that fully covers the glasses with needed shade. There are larger, cheaper answers available at your local pharmacy.

You get what you pay for?

These are very cheap glasses. I bought 5 pair. They were all broken within 6 weeks. The ear pieces just snap off while either putting them on or taking them off. I even sewed on a pair of croakies to one broken pair and then it broke again after about 2 months. Maybe the plastic is incompatible with human sweat? Apparently this is a case of getting what I paid for.

They Broke (rather quickly)

They broke and they broke rather quickly. The arm broke where it goes over my ear. these are cheaply made imitations of Cocoon over the glasses sunglasses. They are cheaper to buy than Cocoons but they don't last.
