Positive Reviews:

Great bottle for walking

I have used these flasks for many years. My wife also uses one. They fit in any pocket including the rear pocket on men's pants. I use them almost every day and have never had one fail. Much better to carry on day hikes than a round bottle. On several -day treks I carry larger bottles in my backpack.

I really like this product.

Like the shape in a backpack. Don't use metal cup. Stays watertight with just the white cap. Lasts about 5 years then the top splits and it starts to leak. Worth replacing.

I would by again but require small size

works well for winter backcounry overnights. But need it in a smaller size (1/2 Pint)

big flask

simple, and big, worked for carrying maple syrup for my group, it did not leak.

Hard to beat

Tried and true design. I expect to have this for another 10 years.

Negative Reviews:

cap seal leaks water when upside down

I filled it with water, screwed the cap and seal down tight. I turned it upside down overnight, and it leaked during the night. A flask should not leak when it is not under pressure. The molding around the mouth is poor, and the cap seal does not make up for the poor surface.

As a founding member of The Adventure Flasking Society, I was looking for a durable, high capacity flask for adventures. This one is high capacity, but not so durable. Great thought, but it needs a stronger finish.

Leaky little flask

Purchased two to bring wine on a recent backpacking trip. Both leaked, one in my pack and one in the tent. Not good at all for back packing.

Weak neck

Purchased to carry in a manbag at work. Neck snapped off at the flask shoulder. Luckily this happened while it was empty.
