Wonderful product--purchasing more!!!

August in the Missouri Ozarks--the gnats, flies, and huge horseflies are out of control!!! The surrounding woods are full of buzzing!!!
This is a fantastic product--fits well, stays in place, cooler because it's not necessary to wear a hat, easy to see through the netting--basically just perfect in every way! It's wonderful not be constantly swatting bugs away from my eyes and ears!!!
Thanks, Campmor, for offering this product!!!
And thanks, Coghlan, for making it!!!

Wish there was something similiar to keep insects away from the dogs' eyes/ears/skin!!!

Great size for keeping bugs off cheek.

Most backpacking mosquito head-nets are too small. Not this one. I have a large head. This one not only fits my head but would go over a brimmed hat too. The best feature is the space between my cheek and the net, nearly 1 inch plus. This is helpful at keeping the black-flies at bay. And, it doesn't feel like I'm breathing in my mosquito net. Yes it is slightly larger then some nets but another ounce to keep those flies from biting my face is worth it.

2-hoop head net is best: clear vision

This is the best head net mostly because of its 2 hoops. They keep the netting straight, thus eliminating folds which really hinder your vision thru the netting. They also keep the netting from brushing your face-very comfortable. One hoop is not enough.
Flexible hoops would make this head net even better, allowing the net to be folded into a small package like the more expensive (and inferior)1-hoop brand. However, the low price is a nice consolation for the lack of this (probably expensive)feature.

Mom loved walking this spring!

Mom 72 years old walks up to 3 miles per day but was bugged by the gnats this spring. the netting allowed her to keep up her walking and cleaning roadside.

I've used the same one for years!!!

It's sun-faded and has a purple chinstrap. My summertime companion in the piedmont of Virginia. I've had the same one for several years, so it's durable. Good good product.

Used as sun block

Had SPF 55 sunscreen and got a terrible burn. Used to block sun. Changed to Campmor sunscreen with net and calmed my face sunburn.

Negative Reviews:

Spend more and get a nicer one

This net isn't great. There's a much nicer one by OR that ill be buying. Already gave this net away. It's visually distracting mesh and the top doesn't stay put. It's fine for the incredibly low price, but I'd planned to wear it biking and it just isn't nice enough that I'd choose it over the other one I have that is just a sack without the spring wires to keep it away from my face. The sack I have is made of nicer, less visually distracting mesh. I do not recommend this product unless you're just wearing it for 5 or 10 minutes at a time.

Leaves Mossies Laughing

Bought to use in the Australian Outback, but found it too hard to see through and it's not long enough to cover the neck area especially if moving actively. The hoops don't fold down so it's very inconvenient to carry.

No bugs, but also no view

This looks like it will work great in keeping the bugs out, but you can't see anything through the green netting.

Coghlan's Mosquito Head Net by Coghlan's

Bought this in anticipation of Black Fly/ Noseeum
for our Adirondack NY camp. Took it out of the box and it sprung open. Good to see that it fits over eye glasses, since I generally don't like wearing a hat at any time. Although it looks really comical wearing it, I don't think the deer or bear will mind...as long as they don't take pictures of me with their cell phones. Hopefully it will be effective. I was told that other campers will be wearing the same or similar thing. I hope so!
