Cole Haan Adelaide Mid Wedge

I am so happy that I purchased these. I was wavering because I usually do not care for either slingbacks or wedges. Slingbacks tend to slip off my heels and make too much noise. I find wedges harder to balance on than regular heels, for some reason, and the aesthetic does not appeal to me. However, I needed to find comfortable sandals that would go with a wide variety of outfits for a trip, and these were Cole Haan (almost always comfortable) and on sale. So I bought them. I loved these from the moment that I pulled them out of the box. The pewterish color is the best neutral you will find - it looks great with black, brown, navy (a particularly stunning combination), bright colors, and everything in between. Despite having a straw-like wedge, these shoes can be dressed up with a little black (or in my case, navy) dress. They are perfect for traveling lightly. I probably would not want to wear them sightseeing for an entire day, but they are totally comfortable for normal daily activity - a bit of walking here, a bit of shopping there. The d'Orsay / slingback styling proved not to be a problem. The slap-slap-slap noise while walking is very slight, sometimes nonexistent, and the strap does not slip off of my feet. I am somewhere between a 7 and 7½ in most shoes; I ordered these in a 7M.

Amazingly comfortable, adorable shoes. The leather is super soft and these can be dressed up or down. I have worn them while traveling, and they are comfortable to wear all day while walking a lot.

Wow. I've read fashion reviews telling how our shoes should complement our height this shoe did it and with style. Love the material and especially the fit.

Very comfortable and stylish! I took them to Europe and they were just perfect for walking, going to museums, and going out at night.

Good looking shoe with the right amount of heel. Very comfortable. The color is very versatile and a nice alternative to black or silver.
