Specialized sleeping bag

I have been looking for a very specific design of sleeping bag and this one comes the closest to meeting my needs. I wanted a bag with the zipper on the left because I use it in an RV twin bed where the bed access is from that side. I also wanted one with layering, not just one top. This bag has a "sheet", a light fleece layer, and the traditional sleeping bag itself giving multiple options for covers depending on the temperature and personal comfort. This bag also has a pillow spot, the bottom layer is longer at the head and accommodates a pillow. I have used the bag 4 times so far and it has been good. What I don't link about is the color...kind of drab. And I think the "sheet" layer could be a bit wider than the bag itself. That would provide better coverage in warm weather. One additional thing, The bag does not fold up small or compress well and it is heavy.

I have two of these bags for general camping and car camping. They work great. We can grab these bags and go no matter which season (we have mild winters). The versatility does come with some additional weight so it would not be ideal for hiking.

Hot week turned into cold weekend.

This is a good 3-season bag. I can grab it and go. With the internal sheet and blanket it adapts to whatever nature brings (except extreme cold).

Just what I was looking for

I bought this to use in an RV. I needed an LH opening. I have used it once so far and it worked great.
