Coleman Axis Led Headlamps Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Better than expected

This light is bright and is easy to adjust to your view. Works great for setting decoys or finding stuff in your blind bag. I used to use a spotlight to get to my blind but i no longer have to carry that big thing around.

Negative Reviews:

Axis

This light has the potential to be great but they cut corners on the design. I bought it because it was the brightest light with the most features for the best price. The fatal flaw is that there is not a distinct off setting on the power knob. The knob is EASILY bumped and the lights will be turned on. I cant tell you how many times I have opened my gear bag to see that something had turned my headlamp on and left me with dead batteries. I feel bad giving it such a bad review because when it works it works great. The lights are super bright. But what good is it when every time I reach for my headlamp my batteries are drained?

Good concept, poor function design

The light selector knob on my Axis MC LED moved too easily and as a consequence of just being in a back pack it drained the batteries---twice. Secondly, the battery cover nearly requires a pair of needle nose fingers to open and close it (good luck if you have cold hands!). The cap once fell into the water and another time it got so tightly stuck it required pliers to open. These frustrating experiences in only a two outings was enough for me to return the unit and label it a "Do Not Buy" rating...

Outdoor products

The Coleman Axis LED Headlamp is average. It doesn’t illuminate light very well after 20 yards.
