Car Camping

What happen to the heavy gauge metal stove of the past. I tried another brand, and it bent just getting it out of the box. At least this one seems somewhat sturdy. This type of stove is for car camping so I'd take more wieght and better quality over the thin, flimsy metal. I like using white gas over bottled gas. If you care about the environment, why would you use stove with disposable fuel bottles. As these stoves go it is the best I've found.

update of Coleman stove

This was a replacement of a former stove of same style, make for my spouse. We use it for tent camping.
He has opened gift and states it looks to be very similar to his 20+ yr old stove. He notes the biggest difference are the side flaps are made of more flimsy material. Otherwise, it looks quite the same. We have yet to use the product but hope it performs as well as my husband's previous stove.

car camping classic

Even though the propane version is easier to light, I prefer liquid fuel versions of the Coleman stoves and lanterns. Beyond camping, I was attracted to the idea that this could potentially run on gasoline during our next power outtage. Took a few tries to master lighting through the priming stage, being patient. Classic stove, simple and durable.

Epic stove

Got it from a friend who used it for years, then let it sit in a box for years. Put fresh fuel in, pumped it up and both burners fired up without a hitch.

Fuel is cheap and abundant and all but the biggest of pans fits on it.

Perfect for car camping.

Good stove

I've had this a long time (almost 20 yrs), use it daily on my camping trips. I use gas in it and if I have leftover gas at the end of the camping trip I empty it into my car. Excellent item.
