I really liked this sleeping bag. At high altitudes and cold weather (southwestern-northwestern United States in the month of May (snow/rain/desert climate)) I was warm. I feel like I got my money's worth out of this sleeping bag. I wasn't sure I was going to like the "mummy" fit, but I like it better than the regular sleeping bag style.

Mabe too warm

Only "test" used it two times since purchase and it was very warm. Too warm for 45 degree temps. Packs LARGE so be warned. Was hoping to take it on a upcoming long trip mountain camping @ 10,000 ft plus but will carry a down bag instead due to weight and bulk of this one.

Very warm

Used these bags on several overnighters and weekend campouts in cold, but not frigid, temperatures. The bags kept us very warm. I have no doubt they would continue to provide warmth at even lower temperatures as I did not have it completely closed up. Most comfortable I've been in cooler weather.

Great sleeping bag

Delivered fast. Husband and son used bags on camping trip with Boy Scouts to Gettysburg - slept in tents. It rained and my son's bag got wet but did not soak through! he was dry all night! Both were warm all night, too. Cant' beat this quality for the price.

Pretty good deal!

Got two of these bags for my boys to use for year-round Scout outings in Colorado. Pretty good bag for the price. Should last them till they're out of school. The bag is a bit big and tough to stuff into the bottom compartment of an inner frame backpack.

Wow, way more than I bargained for...

This is a great sleeping bag. It has improved a lot since I bought one about 15 years ago when I was a boy scout. It is a little bit heavier than I remember, but sure keeps me warm. I would totally recommend this to anyone.

Just what I expected !!!

With in the general guidelines for sleeping bags (in a tent and on a mat), I think this will fill the bill. I had it out on a 38 degree night and was very comfortable with light sleeping clothing and socks on.

Good bag for the money.

Good bag for the money, scouting 1 night, but it's not a zero bag, maybe 15-20 degrees. If planning a long (3-5 day) serious trip in under 20 degree weather, spend the extra money for a better bag ($200+-)

New bag, new person, same great quality.

Fits my son great with a little growing room. I have had my Coleman mummy bag for about twenty years so I figured why not try it again. It fits in the stuff sack great. No problems.

excellent bag

My son's boyscout troop backpacked into camp. The bag was too large to fit in his backpack. Had to carry. For once he stayed warm at night this winter, so it was worth it.

Negative Reviews:

Warm, but a few snafus

Bought this for BSA Winter Camp. When I tried it out at home the zipper disconnected immediately. I was able to get it back together, but would have hated doing so in a backpack tent at night in the cold. When I climbed in I did not fit at all. I am 72 inches and 245 lbs.

I am going to take this camping, and will update this review when I return.
