Good Grill

I bought this grill for family camping and it works great. The only issue I had was keeping it hot enough during breezy conditions while using larger pots that require you to keep the top open.

NXT 300 Part 2 review

If you have read my review above, this is the second review. I received a replacement grill from Cabela's. After waiting for the delivery. I finally got the grill, and put it together. This time, the "undercarriage" seemed to be just fine. I carefully put the wheel bolts in by hand without the wheels, to see if everything was okay. the bolts screwed in and out by hand, very easy, with no binding. I then assembled the grill on my work bench and attached the stand to the grill. again the wheels seemed to be on straight. I then lifted the grill off the bench and placed it on the ground. At that point, one of the wheels (to the front of the grill) "buckled: and went crooked when it took the weight of the grill. I am returning it yet again to Cabela's. During disassembly for packing. I discovered that the crooked wheel bolt could not be removed. I make the assumption that the bold it screws into had broken loose inside the frame. The only option to remove the wheel for shipping is that I will have to cut the bolt with a saw, between the wheel and the frame. Cabela's is sending yet another grill. I will again review. Assembly is simple, four screws to hold a side table. One bolt to hold the stand to the grill, and one bolt each for the wheels. Lets see if Coleman can put out a product that has been quality controlled enough that is can be put together without parts failing.

not so good.

I anticipated getting this grill as a replacement for one that had seen better days. I bought it because of the Coleman reputation of quality goods. not so much. The grill arrived and during the assembly, I discovered that the bolts that hold the wheels in were put in crooked. the result is that when you bolt the wheels on, they are at a bad angle, and you would not be able to pull it across any surface without it wobbling. In addition, them holes that are drilled in the lower stand, designed to be used to bolt the stand to the grill did not line up, make you either re-drill the hole, or force the bolt through with a hammer. since the carton arrived with no damage to the packing, I make the assumption that it is a quality control problem. very disappointing. when I get a new one from cabala's, I will update my review, if warranted.
