Rear bag

Bought this bag to replace the black one I had that ripped on the trailer driving in a rainstorm. Stopped at the first Cabela's we got to and no black ones in stock. Got the camo one and drove on. Used it riding in the mountains and it held all my tools, GPS, water bottles, snacks, etc... Kept my jacket in the outside webbing where it was handy. Our water bottles stayed right in the 2 holders. The bags are easy to open and zip up tight, kept all the dust out as well. Plenty of room to pack everything you need.

Good storage bag, but Bad as a seat

OK I strapped this thing on the back of my Yamaha Big Bear and hit the trails. It holds all my gear and has nice zipper lids with waterproof covers that snap lock down. The fabric feels rugged, but after I let my 60 LB niece ride on back on this seat/bag I noticed the bottom fabric started to tear near the rear straps. The straps didn't tear, but the fabric near the perimeter seam did. It was holding up well carrying my gear, until she sat on it and we went riding. I think the body weight sliding around on it caused it to tear. I also drove thru a small pond and the water came up over the fender in rear. The bag did allow some water to get in. I would guess the bag is probably rain proof, but I wouldn't call it waterproof. LOL. The top fabric feels like a raincoat on the inside, but the bottom fabric feels like canvas. Not a terrible bag, but disappointed I can't use it for a passenger rider. I feel if the manufacturer had sturdier seam on perimeter of bag this would be a quality bag. The attached pix are BEFORE bag tore. It was working great for solo rides. Fabric only tore after I had passenger ride on it. The water bottle holders are a big hit for long trail rides.

Cheaply made

I purchased a Madd Dog ATV pack a year ago from Cabelas with the same design. I bought this one for my wifes ATV because I liked the design. But Cabelas didnt offer the Madd Dog brand anymore. I am not sure if Coleman bought the design, however, while the design is similar, the thickness of material and buckles are far inferior to my Madd Dog. I would not recommend the Coleman version of this ATV Rack Bag.
