Coleman Sabine 20 Degree Sleeping Bag Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

works for me

I'm 6'2" so I got this bag for the big/ tall rating. It's not quite as tall as I had hoped. If the whole bag was as tall as the hooded side, I would have given it 5 stars. My last bag was mostly cotton so this one is much lighter and packable, which I like. I don't tend to go for expensive bags, I don't like the restrictiveness of mummy bags, and am a minimalist when it comes to the warmth of a sleeping bag. This bag is too warm for me for the middle of the summer but nice to sleep on top of and probably warm enough for a little snow. Seems well enough made for me. I would buy it again and probably will get another one for my wife.

Ahhhh . . . Nice and Big!

We bought this bag for my husband, who is a big guy. We've bought "big" sleeping bags before and they are just not big enough, nor have they lasted - the zippers always break. This bag is wonderful! It is plenty large and roomy and Coleman's patented no snag zippers are awesome! We love that it unzips from the bottom too, so hot feet can be relieved! I don't think I would want to push this bag to 20F though. We used it around 40F and it was fine, but I think 20F would be a bit on the too cold side.

Met expectations

Bought this to use in pop up camper. For use in cooler conditions. Not sure if 20 degree rating is accurate as this is a roomy bag and there is no hood.however it is more than warm enough into the 40 degree range, so great for 3 season car camping.Really liked soft lining and zipper plow is a nice coleman innovation, totally snag free.

Tall Boyfriend Loves This Bag

My boyfriend is 6ft. 3in., 240lbs and he loves this bag. He uses it for overnight fishing trips.
He says he has plenty of room and it is good for 3 seasons in the northeast. He also loves the color. He mentioned the hood doesn't cover a total head size, but it's not really a problem.

Roomy and warm

Roomy and warm, its nice to have a sleeping bag that allows you to roll over. It is big to pack, recommend only for car camping. Bag is perfect for me at 5'9" but my 6' husband says it could be a little longer for him. . .

Its huge - but that's what I wanted.... i toss and turn in my sleep and wanted a bag that would allow that movement - get a compression bag because the straps attached to the bag aren't really going to last in the long run

Great Sleeping Bag

Well made, plenty of room (I am well over 6 ft) and it is warm. It doesn't pack to a tiny space because it is a large and well insulated bag.
good quality at a good price.

Not-so Big & Tall like this sleeping bag

This sleeping bag was perfect gear for camping out for a weekend in a friends Lansing, Michigan living room. This sleeping bag definitely kept the cool late winter chill in check while I "camped out" in-doors.

Negative Reviews:

zipper trouble

I bought two bags. Didn't bother to unpack them before leaving for the trip. On unpacking, one bag had a broken zipper. The other bag was used a couple of nights. Opening up the zipper at home to wash, the zipper of that bag also broke.

Can't Move!

I couldn't roll over without the inside fabric sticking to me and rolling too. Made it uncomfortable to sleep in.

Neutral Reviews:

Measurements are misleading

I was looking for a replacement for my old 32" x 76" camp bag. Wanted something with a little more room. The 39" x 84" size should have been more than enough. I'm 6' 200lbs the specs said up to 6' 4". When I crawled in it just didn't measure up. The width was more than enough, but the length of the top barely came up to my chin. The measurements were a few inches short of the advertised size. It's actually shorter than my current bag.
The snag free zipper looks like a great idea. Sent the bag back, still looking for replacement.

Good bag

Not bad. Used it on a cold 22 degree night and was mostly warm. One thing I did notice is it's only warm where your body is, so if you shift around, it will be cold for a while as you move.
