The Coleman Signature Instant Dome 3 sleeps 3 happy campers. The fly seams are sealed at the factory and the rugged HD 1000D polyethylene floor is a bathtub style (wraps up the sides) for extreme weather protection and has welded seams, even in the corners, to guard against leaks. Set up is fast and easy (less than 1 minute). Take down is just as fast. The integrated steel and fiberglass frame makes it simple. The rain fly is built on so it's even easier than you thought. The tent has 4 windows that feature the Auto Roll feature which means opening and closing them is a breeze. And because there are 4 hooded windows you can keep them open in all but a driving rain and still have great ventilation.

Coleman Instant Dome 3 tent
Set up was VERY fast and easy. I put it up in the living room in less than one minute the first time I tried. Packing it back up took two or three minutes the first try. After a couple of tries learning how to roll it back up tightly, the packing could easily be one minute or less. The tent is very well constructed. Seams look good and the rainfly is permanently attached. The floor pan wraps up off the ground to the bottom seam to keep water out. There is plenty of room for two or three adults plus gear inside. A queen size air mattress would fit with room to spare. I use two twin mattresses. There is plenty of ventilation with windows on all four sides. You can choose the amount of visibility from the outside by how far you unzip the windows. This tent could easily be put up by a child. It would be perfect for boy scouts who go group camping without their parents. They could set it up and take it down without help. I bought this tent to take on motorcycle trips. The pack is as advertised (7"x34" long). This tent would be perfect for motorcycles if the pack were shorter (24"-26") because it would fit in the saddlebag or trunk of the Gold Wing. The pack does fit nicely on the trunk rack and can be tied down with cargo nets or bungee cords. The quick setup means I can ride longer each day and not have to worry about setting up before dark. I can put this one up alone and in the dark in less than a minute. I would like for Coleman to make a two person tent like this that packed shorter. Overall, I am very pleased with the product as well as Campmor's fast delivery. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quality tent that sets up fast and easy. I wish they had made the instant tents 30 years ago! I remember needing 30 minutes and four people to set up the big canvas tent with 20 aluminum pole sections... glad those days are over! :)
Good tent
This was more or less the tent we were looking for - low maintenance, easy to set up and big enough for two. I wouldn't try to fit three in there. My friend and I are both tall, thin adults and we felt that there was just enough room for us. We slept in it during a rainy period, and it kept out the rain, although I did feel a bit of moisture on the tent's inside wall. The point is we stayed dry in the rain. In the morning, it was extremely hot in the tent. The windows are therefore a nice feature because they let the air in. The tent fits into a small case and takes up very little space when stowed.
