Coleman Sportster II Dual Fuel 1-Burner Stove Reviews:

50 years old and still works great

I have the 502 Sportster version of this same basic stove, made in 1963. I just came back from a 56 day, 10,000 mile road/camping trip where I cooked many meals with this stove. I refuel it every 2 meals, whether or not it needs it, seems to work best this way. This stove is reliable, lights easily, uses fuel available at Walmarts everywhere. The bottom of the cooking pots stay clean. The Coleman company has parts easily available on line. I have at least 5 other stoves, this is the one that I grab to go on adventures. I would love to buy a new one but I have no excuse as this one still works great.

Don't overlook this one

We have used ours down to -30 F. Not a glamour brand, but a solid, easy to use, dependable stove. No extra tools needed. Fuel is easy to obtain. For your money this is the best value out there.
