Got the job done!

Let me first say I had never camped before this so I have nothing to compare it to. Some would say I still haven't "gone camping" since I used this inside a cabin. But it was a cabin with no heat or electricity (so I think it counts). It was mid-October Vermont, beautiful during the day, but got down to about 40 at night. It was bigger than I expected so I had plenty of room to move around (I'm an average sized woman). I was warm and pretty comfy and actually forgot I was in a cold cabin for most of the night; so I would say it got the job done AND for a fair price (I did not want anything pricey considering I'll probably never use it again). And don't bother trying to roll it back up, I read some other reviews that said to just stuff it back in the bag and I didn't have much problem doing it that way.

Worked for Camporee

We ordered this for our son for his first Camporee with Scouts. It was in the 20's at night and frost. I don't blame the bag but he didn't use the hood so was cold (he didn't realize about mummy bags that you really need to snug it up to keep warm). He did say the zipper snagged and was hard to open and close. I will say that this is a big bag and there is NO WAY it will fit back into the sack or box. In fact, I am certain it was put in the draw string bag using a vacuum process to remove air and compress it. I cannot get it back in. I could barely get it OUT in the first place.

Other than that, I'm sure it will work fine but we will find another way to store it.

No complaints

Bought this bag about A month and a half ago and have used it twice and have no complaints. First time was a warm weather weekend camping trip in August, bag was a little warm for the conditions but with the zipper open i was fine. Second trip was 2 weeks ago in Sussex NJ, night time temps were in the mid 50's and i was fine with just underwear and undershirt. I had no issues with the zippers snagging on either trip and i used them constantly, getting in and out of the bag and zipping up and down throughout the night for temperature control , also bag goes back in the stuff sack with little to no effort. Planning another trip in early November when night time temps will probably be in the 40's.. will let you know how that one goes.

Great Bag!!

Went Camping in Sussex NJ last weekend where night time temps were in the mid 20's and low 30's and i was warm and toasty sleeping in only long johns and wool socks. Friday night the temperature went down to 26 degrees and i was fine, not even a little bit chilly, same went for Saturday night when the temps were around 31 degrees. Had no issues with the zipper or with condensation, slept with the hood on and my head inside the bag most of the night and had no issues with condensation.

good bag

Good bag for the price. It had room for me to move around without too much trouble. It took some work to get it back in the bag it came in, but not too much. Was warm, but the temps were only down into the mid 40s. It was very humid camped beside a river, but no condensation in the bag. I didn't even have it zipped all the way up and it was still warm. I like this bag.

Very pleased with this bag

I bought this for my 9 year old for a camping trip. It kept him warm and cozy on a 35degree night. I was very pleased with the quality and the price of this bag. It comes with a stuff sack. Some reviews said it was difficult to get this bag back in the sack. We had no problem. Just shove and squish and it will fit in the sack with no problem.

Bags for Boy Scout troop

Bought the bags for a boy scout troop. Temperatures dropped into the high 30's and the boys slept warm. Others have commented on how difficult it was to get the bags back into the stuff sack. The boys (age 11 - 15) were told to stuff (rather than roll) the bags into the sacks, and they all succeeded in doing so. The bags are very satisfactory for the price.

Quality for the price

I bought this Bag for my wife. She wanted something Inexpensive, but good. Coleman has always been a name we trust, so this was a good buy. The only real con is that it doesn't pack as small as the more expensive bags on the market, but I guess that's how the pricing structure is designed as far as camping equip goes.

Love it

This bag is excellent all the way around. It is light, warm, packs small, has a rugged yet smooth zipper, it is great for car camping as well as in the tent. The quality is fantastic and the price is perfect. Can't go wrong with this bag!

Sofar, so good..

I purchased three of these for my grand children. If they preform as well as the other Coleman bag I have it will work for them. They like the bags so far, but not for backpacking. However I have not tried a compression stuff sack yet..

Negative Reviews:

Not the bag for me

We tried out this bag in our livng room. Everything seemed fine, so I sent my child on a 2 week trip to the California Sierra--it gets cold there. First night, the zipper became inoperable. When he returned, I tried fixing it to no avail. We've returned this product. The zipper on amy sleepig bag should not break your first time out.

zipper broke down on my first trip

On my first trip using this sleeping the zipper snags, when I tried to fix it at midnight it broke down, I had a terrible night because I was not able to zip up my sleeping, I wonder if it has some kind of warranty altought i bought it on these place a few years ago I only use it once.

Poorly made.Seams came apart after 1 day

After only one day of use after purchasing the sleeping bag came apart at several seams. Cheaply made. Unfortunate since I really like the size and design. Returned for a refund.
