Good family tent | |

| Bought this for a family of 4. Plenty of room for us, can easily get two queen-size air mattresses inside. I was able to set up myself in about 15 minutes. It's very sturdy, even in windy conditions, and remained waterproof through a nearly 24 hour rainstorm. It is a big tent (an adult can easily stand inside) so your body heat doesn't do much to warm it up. Only real complaint is the rain fly design, with the rain fly on all the windows except the front door are blocked. I would have preferred a way to unzip openings in the rain fly to allow an outside view when it's not raining. Also, the fly only comes down half way, which puts a lot of stress on the tent when it's windy as wind goes up and under the fly. Still, if you stake it down well the tent will stay in place. I liked the front awning as well though I would have preferred a vestibule so that I could keep backpacks & boots outside the tent but still covered from the rain. Overall though, for the money this is a great tent. | |

PERFECT! | |

| We just camped with this tent for a rainy week in the Smoky Mountains. The tent was easy to assemble (5-10 mins for myself and 7-year-old son) and take down. The bag is appropriate size - so we (not just the factory) could return the tent for storing. We remained dry even through the week of almost continuous rain...and I did NOT pre-seal the tent before camping. My only complaint is that the door is only half-screened - taking away from the beautiful morning views. | |

| I bought this tent on sale so I was worried about what I bought, the two pole construction was very nice and recomended. The first night camping we had heavy winds, tent held up remarkably. Tent was very roomy could easily fit more the 6 and center height was good for me as well. I recommend this tent. | |

Easy set-up for such a large tent

| There needs to be stake loops in the middle of the sides where there are none. It's too large of a length not to be staked down. | |

Not a good tent for the money

| i bough this last july and took to yellowstone camping trip. camping in custer state park was fine and it withstood thunderstorm for a night. when we got to yellowstone this tent is not meant for the windy condition there. we set it up and went for a hike. came back and saw that it was flatten by the wind. we camped at bridge bay so it was not that extreme a location. luckily i brought along duck tape and that fix broken pole where it snapped and splintered in two places. surely not going to waste my hard earned money with any coleman products ever again. | |

Not a good choice for camping...

| I bought this tent hoping to be able to use it on a four day camping trip. On the first day, the tent began leaking after just minutes of heavy rain. Water leaked through the seams on the base of the tent, and pieces of fabric on the rainfly began dripping water, which got into the interior of the tent. This tent is very cheaply made and is definitely not suitable for withstanding rain. | |

| There was a storm when we used it that lasted about 8 hours with winds about 30-40 mph and the tent blew down flat and leaked puddles of water into the sleeping area. Even after the storm was over the tent was still flat on the ground and soakes inside and out. | |

Lays down in high winds | |

| The tent is easy to set up and take down. Plenty of room for a family of four and their stuff - I really liked the handy cargo pockets near the door. In general, I liked the tent, however, the tent poles are not strong enough to stand up in high winds. We camped at the beach and the tent did well for the first few days, but on the last day we had sustained 10-15 mph winds with gusts to 20, and the windward side of the tent kept collapsing (the support pole on that side would bend and that half of the tent would go flat). I'm just thankful it didn't rain that day. Hopefully, they will redesign the poles to be stronger - because otherwise, it's a decent tent. | |
