Great tent for the Money
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Just bought this tent after looking at countless ones online and in stores. I hadn't camped in awhile and wanted something medium size that was easy to setup. This tent is very easy to setup and takes minutes. I camped for 2 nights, and both nights it rained steadily. I had absolutely zero problems with the tent leaking. Although the seams are factory taped, I also sealed them as well. I've read enough to know that, taped or not, you should always seal your seams. For the money you can't beat this tent. While I would agree the door does fall in, if you know this beforehand you can avoid the problem. I had no water in the tent at all, neither from the door or the seams. I'm more of a car-camper, so i wouldn't speak to how it would perform outside of that, but it's roomy, easy to setup and takedown, and does the job! | |

Our First Tent for Camping
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Tent held up during some heavy rain on our first family camp trip in PA this past weekend. Decided not to use an additional tarp and just used the included rain-fly and it held up real well. No leaks, although I did spray water-proofer on the seams. It wasn't windy so can't vouch for the wind resistance. Plenty of headroom for me (5'9") and enough room for 4-5 persons. When the cool night breezes were blowing I only wished I could close some of the flow-thru air. The only other option was to not stake the lines pulling out the sides of the tent. Set-up took about 30 minutes with the help of another person to prop up the center when positioning the extra long cross frame. | |

I Freakin Loved This Tent

| We used this tent for a 2 day camping trip that included a night of downpouring rain and terrible wind. We stayed very dry except for the door of the tent did let in a little water but we managed it by putting a towel down and it was fine. I'm going to waterproof it before we go out again just in case but this tent definitely withstood the rain better than everyone else's tent that we were with. We slept 4 adults and two kids comfortably with one queen air mattress and mats but I think 6 adults would be pushing it. We plan to use two queen air mattresses next time and it still leaves room at the end of the beds for luggage | |

| Easy and fast to setup. I setup in the dark at 12:30 PM and was done in less that 30 mins. Loads of room. | |

Very bad front door design
| Rating: | ![]() |
| We are avid campers and bought this tent to use at the beach. It is easy to set up and would be perfect for backyard camping on a clear, warm night. However, it rained and the wind was blowing two nights while we were there. The entire top half of the tent is mesh (ONLY covered by the rain fly). When the wind was blowing the whole tent moved. But, more importantly, the front door tilts back (with the shape of the dome ... the little 'awning' is useless). And when it rains the front door gets covered with water. SO when you open it, the door falls into the tent ALONG WITH all the water on it. This is definitely a one-season, fair weather tent. | |
