Performed as advertised

We took our two kids (6yr & 1 yr) camping in SE Texas in March and the forecast was for lows in the 30s at night. I zipped 2 bags together, and myself and both kids had plenty of room in the bags. Kept us snug and warm all night. The only extra thing we needed were hats, but that's the trade off of rectangular bags that zip together as opposed to a single mummy style bag with hood. Great purchase, I know we'll be warm in the cold weather.
The only con is the bag does not come with a stuff sack, and so does not roll up as small as other bags. It does have a line and hook attached to secure it when rolled up. However this is not an issue unless you are doing serious back country hiking where you are lugging your gear around.

Great bags for the price

I just bought two of these sleeping bags for family members. They are warm, cozy, and comfy. They are just right for early spring yurt camping on the west coast. The only downside is how difficult they are to keep rolled up because the closure straps are just a bit too short. I bought two of the stuff bags that were recommended (10 x 20), but those are definitely too small.

Warm and cozy

We plan to use these sleeping bags when car camping in our Vanagon. They are warm cozy and roomy. My husband is 6'1" and has plenty of room - even when fully zipped. These bags can zip together which is a big plus.
When packing the bag away after use, it does not roll up as small as we wished, but it is workable. All in all, a great purchase.

Everything we wanted in a sleeping bag

Bags will be used for the kids in a pop-up camper. Like the fact that they will zip together if needed. Bags are bulky, but purchased stuff/compression sacks for them so not an issue. Soft inner lining is wonderful. Kids really liked that. They have used other bags with a nylon or synthetic lining and did not like. Will store nicely in the camper.

Nice Bag

Good basic bag. Use for car camping and warmer weather(3 season). Like that it fully unzips so that my wife and I can use one on the air mattress and one as a cover. Hard to get it to pack small, but not a big deal if you are not backpacking and why would you buy this for that?

we shopped around and found this sleepin

I purchased this sleeping bag for my son for boy scout camping trips, he has not yet been able to experience whether or not it will stand up to the cold weather temperatures it's meant to reach. hopefully he will . As for comfort he has expressed that it was comfortable for him

Good Bag, Good Value

It kept me comfortable in 35-45 degree weather. There was some moisture in my tent from heavy rain, but the bag stayed dry.

The plastic hook on the pack line (string to keep it packed) seems like it might not stand the test of time, but so far it's holding up.

Coleman Comfort

I needed two bags that zipped together, would be warm on the coast while sleeping in our travel trailer. The bag is very warm with a lot of loft. Due to the insulation thickness, the bag has lots of cushion. It's very well built, zippers easily, and quite roomy inside.

Like my coleman lassen bag

Have used it several times in summer months never below 50 degrees.20 degrees sounds a little cold for this bag but it may be ok with the right clothes on.Too big an heavy for backpacking. It is very soft on inside, zipper works good, rolls and ties up nice.Very comfortable bag.

Very Nice Sleeping Bag

I purchased this sleeping bag for my 12 yr old son and he loves it. The sleeping bag and its components (material, zipper, security strap, etc.) all appear to be really great quality, and he thought that the secret interior flashlight pocket was really neat.

Negative Reviews:

When "20 degrees" isn't "20 degrees"

i bought 3 of these bags... all 3 of us were not comfortable... they would probably be ok down to about 45 degrees... not much lower than that....very disappointed

Coleman needs better quality control

These were bought to use for car camping - not backpacking.

Neutral Reviews:

good basic sleeping bag

works well for car camping in moderate climate or at home for kid's sleepovers. Wouldn't recommend for higher elevations or camping in colder weather.
