Turn any tailgate lot or campsite get together into a barbecue with the Coleman RoadTrip Grill LX. The RoadTrip runs on a 16.4 ounce propane cylinder (not included), or you can outfit it with a propane hose and run it off a 20 pound tank. The grill runs at up to 20,000 BTUs for hot and fast cooking, even if you plan on using it outside a football stadium in freezing cold weather. The RoadTrip's 285sq in cooking surface is a real drip-through grill with a removable grease pan for easy cleaning. Coleman's easy-use design means you can pop the top off when you want to cook a huge pot of chili or detach the side tables when you're tight on space. The RoadTrip's two burners are independent so you can slow cook one side while blasting the other. The RoadTrip grill compactly folds and the lid locks shut so you can leave it in your trunk until you're ready to cook.

Great Multipurpose & Multiuse Grill

Rating:*****

I recently bought this particular Grill because I moved downsized from a 3-bedroom large yard home; to a 2 bedroom, 2nd floor balcony condo.
I had limited space on the 2nd floor balcony, and my large
gas grill which I had at my home wouldn't fit, it was simply too big and wide.
So I was searching for a grill that would fit on the balcony along with a small round glass top table and 2-matching chairs, as well as a dog pet-a-potty box.
The Roadtrip Grill fit the bill. It was the perfect size. Anothe nice feature is the fact that it will fold down for
storing inside in winter months. Also, I purchased the
cover for outside storage and the cover is a good quality
heavy durable cover.
I'm very happy with the entire unit and would definitely recommend the Roadtrip Grill to anyone with space constraints.
Coleman products have a great reputation and seem to be built to last.

Thank you,
D. Phillips, Arlington Heights, IL

Serious tailgaters and campers delight.

Rating:*****
If you are seriously into tailgating and/or camping and you can lift 30 or forty pounds easily, you will enjoy this unit. Wipe it down and store indoors after every use, clean it thoroghly at the end of the season, and I see no reason it will ever let you down. I had it five years - still works and looks new. Anyone who keeps it outside for permanent use is asking for trouble and should not own this! Interchangeable cooktops allow you to griddle for breakfast, grill for lunch, and use pots and pans anytime. Split-top design allows any combination of two of these options at the same time. Versatile and user-friendly. I added an optional "tee" and hose to my rv and never have to lug tanks.

It works great!

We have used the RoadTrip LX for 21 tent camping days so far, and really enjoy it. Instead of the wheeled carrier that is available, we chose to by the extra large Rubbermaid container. The stand is too large but the grill and all other Coleman gear rides protected in one location. The only drawback we have found is that it does not handle the wind well. Either turning it or rigging a shelter takes care of that. Fred Meyers department store carries the grills for this. We added two of the pot type grills to our collection as we progressed through our travels.

I have been tailgating ...

Rating:****
I have been tailgating with this grill for YEARS, and it has NEVER given me any problems. Cooks very well, and has plenty of room for what we do (usually about 8-10 people). I wish it was a little lighter or somehow easier to transport, but that's not a huge problem. If it ever fails (and hasn't after five years of not-so-kind treatment) I will buy another.

Very happy with this grill

Rating:*****
I have had this grill for several years and am VERY happy with it. Every time I use it someone wants to know where I got it because it is so compact and easy to set up. Showing a little wear a tear but works as well as the first time I used it. Have the accessory bag (w/ rollers) and interchangable griddles, grills, etc...

Great grilling

Rating:*****

High quality, works great, easy to use and cleans up in a snap. Good for people with a small deck or patio. We like our Roadtrip Pro for the motor home because it rolls and it is easier to move around. We are very happy with both.

Love it, but it isn't near perfect

Rating:***
Mostly, I use my Road Trip grill on my porch, out of the sun & rain. It's the perfect size for a small group of people. It sets up and packs down very quickly & easily. The results have always been outstanding. On the other hand, the water basin should not be subject to corrosion, nor should the nonstick coating be flaking off. Unfortunately, these are serious & expensive flaws.
