Seems to work as long as you don't sweat

I've developed sensitivities to various chemicals such as DEET so was eager to take this non DEET product for a test drive. Seems to work fairly well as long as you're just kicking it around camp and did not elicit a reaction. Working up a sweat whilst hiking down the trail, however, is an entirely different matter, as you'll have to reapply very frequently, necessitating perhaps a container per day, or more.

As far as recommendations to friends, that would depend. If you can tolerate DEET based product, use that instead. But if DEET gives you a migraine, then this could be a viable option, just bring lots of it if you're going to be doing much sweating.
