Possible error in sizing chart

I loved the product, but ordered according to the sizing chart. I even measured myself. My waist is 33 and sizing chart states 32-35 as Medium. It was HUGE on me. No way I could even just take it in a little. It was so large I'm not sure even a Small will fit. Returned it and waiting to see. Perhaps it was just an anomaly. Product was good quality and I've never had a problem with Campmor. They have always delivered.

Versatile

Wore jeans on my last backpacking trip. What a disaster that was! They were hot, heavy, and restrictive going up slopes in the mountains. I love these pants because they allow good freedom of movement, and they are convertible to shorts. That is important in the mountains of North Carolina in late spring, summer, and early fall. I actually bought another pair after I got the first ones.

woman wearing men's pants

I'm a 5'3" woman who prefers convertible pants with a longer SHORTS inseam. The 30" full-leg inseam is perfect for me. The elastic waist also gives a good fit.

Great product for a great price

Nice color. Great for hiking and for backpacking / traveling for an extended time given the flexibility (short/long pants), light weight, and quick dry. Love it.

nice pants!

Very nice pants. Just what I needed. They fit just fine and are very nicely constructed. I will wear them out! Good price too! Thank you.

great pants

Very good pants. Wore them on a backpacking trip in November and with the pants and some long thermal underwear I was very warm.

Very nice quality and fit!

I've looked at several different brands and I end up coming back to Columbia. This particular model fits me well.

Great hiking pants

16 miles hiking in Borrego Desert S.P. last weekend to break them in. Good for hiking thru cactus.

Negative Reviews:

Not good for hiking.

Bought these for hiking but these aren't really good for that. They soak up the wet to much and hold it instead of wiking it away and having it evaporate.

Neutral Reviews:

Not so great

They tend big for medium, waist is probably a 34, and I wear a 31. The convertible part is awkward to remove, and I generally have to take my boots off to get the bottoms off, and they can't be partially unzipped, as they unzip around the front of the leg, and not the back, as some of my other convertible pants do.
