Columbia Sportswear Lode Hauler Duffel - 100L

Although I have not had a chance to actually use the bag, I found so few reviews I felt a bit compelled to add my own. I purchased the 100L bag which is quite large. My main motivation for buying the bag was to have a large catch-all bag to throw the family snowboard/ski gear in. This includes: 2 pairs of snowboard boots, 4 pants, 4 coats, etc. for an upcoming trip. I was tired of making (what always feels like) 20 trips back and forth between the car and the condo. The bag is easily large enough to accomadate all this gear and maybe a little more. I like the large circular zipper opening which allows for full access of the inside. I also like the flat bottom which makes more sense to me vs. the standard rounded bottom. Although I cannot comment on durability of the bag yet, the materials appear to be very tough and well made. In comparison to similar TNF and 1st Ascent bags I have examined I feel this is a much better value; however, I did purchase it on clearance during a 30% off member sale. The next sale that comes along I will grab a matching 50L if one is still available.

I use this bag for business trips. It has held up great and takes a beating from the airlines.
