I needed a jacket that can repel rain, ski/snowboard with, can wear to work/casually, keep my warm and not make me sweat when I go indoors and this jacket delivers. I had my doubts when I saw the foil looking inside and I thought there's no way it can keep me warm. I live in New York and this is perfect since it gets frigid/windy here. I don't question the mechanics of it all but it keeps me comfortably warm. I don't get sweaty and uncomfortable when I go indoors because the material dries sweat. I have mobility, move around easily, and it's not bulky. My only gripe is the backtail of the jacket is longer than the front which is probably designed to keep your butt from getting wet when snowboarding but just looks and feels weird to me. Also, when you zip the jacket all the way up, the zipper guards kind of get in the way and rub up on your neck and mouth. But other than that, 5 out of 5.
I got this jacket for my 13 year old son. He loves it. I was not sure, because it is hard to judge style with teenagers, but he liked the color and the way it fit (kind of lose on him, 5'5'' and 105 lbs, and we got him a men's small) He has plenty of room to move while we ski and keeps him plenty warm.
Got this jacket about a week before heading to Telluride for some spring skiing. Had weather from 15 to 40 degrees over the course of the week, and this jacket was perfect for it all. For the price of this jacket, it is a great all purpose buy.
Feedback from a customer:
"The cut is snug in the upper arms for guys that lift weights so wearing a sweatshirt underneath is a little tight but the quality is great otherwise."
Taking this into account customer still rates it 5/5 and will be keeping the Jacket.
Very Warm - great for the bus and for the outdoors
Wish I had spent a little more on a better Jacket. Put a nice big rip in the arm the first year I had it tree skiing. Just not tough enough for hard use.
