Positive Reviews:

For reference: I'm 5'7-ish, 140 lbs. I bought a size 8.
I love these pants. The fit is absolutely perfect in the waist, thighs, and length.
The FABRIC is stellar. It's soft and super comfortable. I could easily wear them for days on end and still love them.
They breathe and wick moisture away. They have a zipper to convert to shorts that hit right above the knee.
The ONLY reason I didn't give it a full FIVE stars is the snap closure at the waist. There are two snaps and one of them has already broken in the week that I've owned them. It's an easy fix but still disappointing. I would have expected a little better quality for the price tag.
All in all, amazing pants. I'm NOT returning them because I love them too much. Broken snap and all.

I really liked these pants the moment I zipped them up. I've been looking for hiking pants that are comfy, functional, and flattering. Oh, and they have to come in petite. These pants fit all those criteria. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars across the board is because a slimmer profile means that they are slightly more constrictive during extreme moves, but I think that comes with the territory when you aren't wearing normal hiking clown pants. I found them true to size: I ordered a 2 Short (my regular size) and they fit great.

The fit is perfect - I'm 5'4" and weigh 115 lbs and I got a size 6. These sit lower than the waist and the back is a little higher than the front. Very comfortable hiking all day with a backpack. I stayed dry and had the bottoms to zip on in the evening. The pant legs have a toggle on the bottom so you can tighten around the ankle to adjust length - great idea! They washed up great.

Beware of sizing. I have these identical pants in gray, size 4. But in beige I had to get size 6. Other than sizing issues, they fit well and are very lightweight and comfortable. Good for hiking and backpacking.

I am a 10, but they were tight, will need a 12 and long, regular was too short.

Negative Reviews:

I couldn't figure out what stretched about these pants. The waist runs small and the legs were huge and baggy on me. I expected that these would have more shape than most convertible pants. They are large and wrinkly.

Neutral Reviews:

My experience is that these are true to size. However, for someone who has been riding horses her whole life these pants a quite snug around the thighs. To be more specific, the zipper is a bit too tight. The pants themselves are very stretchy.
