Nice Casual Skirt | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
This skirt is very comfortable. The waistband is about 3 1/2 inches wide and doesn't have any elastic -- it is just made out of the same material as the skirt, but it works! I am short (5'), so the short skirt is about mid-knee on me, but if I feel like making it a little shorter, I just roll down the waistband. From the picture, I was expecting the fabric to be a little shinier (like swimsuit material), but it is a matte, heavy knit, making it a bit more casual. I still like the skirt -- it pairs well with t-shirts and tank tops -- and I think it will hold up well with multiple wears and washes. The envelope-style pocket is sewn on the inside of the waistband, and it is just the right size for a credit card -- I don't think you could fit anything else in there without it feeling uncomfortable against your stomach. This will probably end up being one of my favorite skirts!

nice simple skirt | |

| I am always looking for skirts that fall to my knee and not lower, and I wanted something that doesn't wrinkle easily, so it can be an everyday thing to wear. This skirt is it - not perfect, but very nice. It is thicker material than I expected - more like a cotton jersey, and because the medium was too big (and I always take a medium) I got the small, and it is an inch or too shorter than I'd like but I still love it. The pocket is only big enough for a credit card or ID and some bills. | |

Perfect skirt for all you sporty types

The ashtanga skirt is cute, comfortable and goes with anything - it's about as multi-tasking as a skirt can get. Not too short to wear out and about, not too long to wear in the heat. It looks good pulled over a bikini or over leggings (but not over jeans because that always looks silly).

Very versatile skirt | |

| I originally bought this skirt to wear over my biking shorts when I ran errands or went out for lunch after a long bike ride. From day one I wore it for every other purpose. I even put a dressy top over it with a great belt and wore it for an evening out. I liked it so much I ordered another for my trainer as a gift. She put it on and never took it off. It runs true to size ... perhaps almost on the large side. Order your own size... not a size larger. | |

| Wow - what a great fit! Nice fabric weight with a bit of stretch, this skirt is an easy summertime piece. The ruched waistband is very flattering, and can be worn low or high on the hips to control coverage and length. I noticed the tag called this the "long" length, and it hits me a bit below the knee (I am 5'7"). Could be hemmed if you wanted it shorter. The skirt is overall so comfortable and attractive, I will wear it as much as possible. | |

Ashtanga Skirt - good buy!
| Rating: | ![]() |
Comfortable, flattering skirt hits perfectly above knees in 20" length. If white logo didn't show on hip I would wear it to my business casual office. Size down for a good, not tight, fit (I am 5'1" w/38" hips and normally a 6/Med, but a Small in this style). Pocket is an exaggeration... more like a condom holder stashed in the waistband. Quick dry non-shiny black fabric has perfect amount of stretch. Good buy on sale, will wear on weekends and definitely for travel.

| I ordered this skirt in Black, XL ( I am "full figured")and I don't like really clingy clothing. Much to my delight, the skirt fit well, but was too large in the waist! The fabric is awesome--very soft and it did not wrinkle easily. In addition, the black fabric did not pick up lint. I own several pets, and I was able to leave the house without having to brush off fur. All around great skirt, but it does run large in the waist. | |

| I'm 5'5" and weigh 125, ordered the small and medium. The medium was way too big, the small fits perfectly! I love the material...great for traveling or throwing in my work bag for going out after work. A great skirt to run around with my kids or go out for dinner or a drink. I also ordered the longer version, but like the 20 inch skirt better! Hits right at my knee. Waiting for the black to be available in my size! | |

comfortable everyday skirt
| Rating: | ![]() |
I like this skirt very much for everyday wear. I was surprised by the fact that there was no casing of elastic for the waistband, and that the waistband is actually just a shirred band of the skirt material, cut a little smaller than the skirt itself. The skirt stays up/on fine, better than you might think from my description, and the look of it blends well with other pieces, for a nice everyday skirt you can wear anytime.

Nice fabric, decent quality.

| I was hoping for a nice casual (throw on to go shopping) or dance practice skirt when I ordered this. I enjoyed the fabric quality, cut, and stretch, but I've been around a 10+ misses lately and found this too large at the waist. If there had been a small, I would've exchanged down. I might keep it... but it's almost in danger of sliding down now, and I'll hope to be back out of it soon. | |

Wish it would have worked

This skirt looked and felt so comfortable, but it was too big in the waist. With no drawstring or way of making it smaller, I had to send it back. I have a larger hip to waist ratio and size mediums work well for me in most styles, but unfortunately this wasn't one of them. Too bad, the length was perfect and the fabric great - but I'll stick with Prana's Bliss skirt, which works better for me.

| i like comfy skirts bc they are easy to toss on they look less frumpy than sweatpants, but this one was no good. had to return it. looked like old sweats after one washing and stuck to my tights/pants/legs underneath. | |

| This skirt is designed to fit around the hips, but its just weird. It would look better if it were a bit longer. The material doesn't really work well for the skirt style either. Sent it back. | |

Not my fav... | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
The skirt is okay. I read another review saying that it runs big, so I got a small. I am normally a size 4 and the skirt was super clingy and tight. No free and floating the way the picture looks. One wash in cold water, hanging dry and all kinds of lint and dog hair stuck to it. A little upsetting for the price. I am not even sure I'll wear it again.

Comfortable stretchy skirt.

| I'll just say this -- the skirt is weird. It is made to sit on your hips (I think) and is super, super casual feeling. It's comfortable, but I have no idea where I will wear this; maybe just for running to the grocery store. I'm keeping it 'cuz the price is good and it is very comfortable. | |

cute skirt, balls up easily

I agree that this skirt runs big! It's a great cut, totally comfortable. Took it on a trip to italy, and wore it only a few times...It balls up, and looks really bad after a few wearings. I'm disappointed, as it looks much older than it actually is.

| I purchased this skirt with two other skirts for travel in a hot weather climate. I returned this skirt (and kept the other two) because I did not think this fabric would be the best choice for very hot climates. | |

Strange fabric | |

| My rough winter hands could barely touch this wierd fabric without sticking to it - feels like the outside of expedition-weight long underwear. The waist band is too wide and the fabric shows every underwear line and bulge. | |

Nice skirt, a little big, and the top doesn't fold over very well - rest of the skirt loses its shape and the inside tag doesn't appear to be removable...?
