| The L/XL size fits my 7-1/2 size head just fine. I would have given this hat 5 stars except that I am not a fan of the manufacturer splashing their name all over the outside of the hat. From the product picture it looks like any copy is small and subtle, but they don't show the full front or back of the hat. On the hat band in the front Columbia's name is writ large along with other copy, part of which can be seen in the photos. On the brim in the back is a triangular shaped stitched-on piece touting the SPF factor of the hat. While I was able to remove it, the outline of the stitching remained and they used an adhesive strip to adhere it while stitching and I have found nothing that will remove that without destroying the hat. So, to sum it up - nice, comfy hat that fits well, but would be even better by not being a billboard for the manufacturer. | |
