Fit the bill - I actually bought this shoe for riding my bike. My feet stayed cool on a 4 hour ride due to the upper mesh. Can't say what it would be like wearing them in water but I'm satisfied for the reason that I bought them. Very comfortable and easy to cinch up. I would recommend this shoe.

I may leave them on all the time

These puppies are so comfortable, I may just buy another pair to kick around the house. I don't think I'd take them on much of a hike, but for walking around on land after sailing or kayaking, they'd be... well, a shoe in.

Great Pair of Shoes

Rating:****
I was looking for a pair of shoes that i can wear around town, and also be able to wear when I go sailing, kayaking or go to the beach. This shoe fits the bill. Great fit and it looks good too.

Negative Reviews:

Not well built.

The disconnect between the sole and the "insert" doesn't work to support one's foot.

I got these shoes because the concept seemed great. I really wanted a shoe that looked good in casual settings and was good for hikes and water activities. The shoe does look great and is very comfortable except for the heel. It tends to rub excessively at your ankle even when you wear socks. I tried them around the house for a couple of days to try to break them in but they just got too annoying. I could never take them out for a hike. The overall concept is great and I'm actually sad that I have to return them. I have read similar problems from other reviews but there have been some that dont have a problem with them. I would definitely try them out, just dont have you mind set on them.

Nice shoes

Rating:***
Intended for sea kayaking, will return because they appear to be 1/2 size larger. They look good, nice color and style. Did not use them in water, not sure if they will dry fast. If you get a good fit I would say that should have fun with them.
