The key to outdoor fun is to minimize the sun. Columbia Sportswear’s Omni-Shade pants protect you from the sun’s harsh rays and let you stay out longer.
Wear your regular-fit Columbia Men's Lander Pant to a backyard barbecue, night on the town, or even a half-day of hiking your favorite trail. These stonewashed cotton pants feel soft and comfortable the first time you put them on, so you don't have to go through the hassle of breaking them in properly. Columbia gave these Lander Pants a zippered security pocket so you won't lose your cash or driver's license in the seat cushions or restaurant booth.

At Last Confortable Pants that actually fit well
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Recently my company a major retailer changed our dress code excluding jeans, shorts and the like. As I began my search for non jean slacks I anticipated my problem.. Athletic build, small waist. Realizing that my best hope would be an athletic company so I ordered 2 pair of the Columbia Lander Pants, 28 waist 32 inseam. It took about a week to receive them but They are the most comfortable, best fitting casual pants in my closet. My only regret is that I could not get them in every color at the time. Great job, great product and for those of us 45 and over very active my thanks.. more 28W/32L options pleas. | |

Best That Money Can Buy | |

Columbia Lander pants are a great buy for less than $30.00. I am a strange size 36" x 34" compared to the rest of the population, but my Lander pants are a great fit, not too tight or too loose. I love all the pockets that keep things like your cell phone and wallet secure. The pants are also very lightweight but made of durable cotton. Some people might not like the snap instead of a button to secure their pants. I highly recommend this product for people who like an outdoors and functional casual, high quality type of attire (it isn't a dress pants).

Columbia Lander Pants | |

These pants are great. Although I like the comfort of stonewashed denim jeans, it gets tiring to wear the same thing. The Lander Pants are a great substitute - they were instantly soft and comfortable. You can hang out in them all day and they are 1 notch up in "dressiness" from jeans (at least in my opinion). The side pocket around knee height makes a great cell phone holder and avoids the belt clips which I never liked. Overall, a great pair of pants - enough so, that I bought them in 4 different colors after checking out one of them.

| Very hard to find anything in the stores in my size these days (28 waist), so I was very happy to see these in my size on altrec. I bought two pairs at a very good price, and I think I will buy more before they are gone. Very comfortable, love having the zip pocket for my phone, look great, fit great. | |

Great Pants! | |

| Fit is typical Columbia, true to size. Material seemed thin initially, proved to be durable for every day and backpacking / trail wear. Surprisingly durable, in fact! Suitable more for late spring / summer wear as apposed to cooler temps. Intend to buy more colors, as I wear them often. | |

I've bought 3 pair. Extremely comfortable broken in feeling and all cotton is great. Loose fitting... I had to take them in a little in the waist even though i bought a 30" waist which was unusual for me. Wish they came in navy and black too.

| The fit is awesome. They have a little bit of a low rise, which is what I like. I normally wear 35" but the 34" fit perfectly. Loved them so much, I bought all of the colors. | |

| I ordered my pants in a 35/29--I'm on the shorter side, and it's hard to find pants in my inseam. They fit great and look great on. I would definitely buy another pair! | |

I have purchased multiple pairs of these pants in different colors. These pants look as great at the office as on the weekend. I definitely recommend these pants.

| These pants are comfortable and functional with a variety of pockets. These are my favorite pants to wear for work, I consider them a dressy/casual pant. | |

Not worth buying | |

I've been buying Landers for years and I hate, hate, hate to say it, but the quality has gone completely downhill. The stitching is poor, the finishing (how one part meets another part i.e.) is awful, the material itself has become so thin that it only lasts about one season(as apposed to years past that lasted two to three years with heavy use).

These pants have a wierd fit, it is pretty big and they to seem to get bigger at the bottom, like already posted, but what i want to say is that there are actually six pockets, there is a zip pocket behind one of the front pockets that is not written on the description/
