| The inside Omni-Tech logo patch for this shell reads: "Waterproofness: 10,000mm; Breathability: 10,000g/m2/24hr" Also, the "Zip-In Compatibility" spec is misleading. The shell is Columbia Interchangeable, being that is has loops on the collar and either wrist for fastening a fleece or something up. However, unlike other interchangeable shells, this one has no inner zippers to secure another layer. (See Columbia Treeline Shell) I just received this shell so I can't say anything regarding it's performance. Other than these two slight disappointments, first impressions are good. The material and construction seem solid and it's feature set is impressive. I hope Backcountry.com will investigate my claim and adjust their listed specifications accordingly. | |

Great Jacket | |

| Kept me warm and dry during a rainy weekend at the Cossatot River in Arkansas. Easy access to all the pockets, a little heavy but not too bulky. My nitpics, 1) make a keeper to rollup the hood when not needed, nobody like to get splashed when pulling on a hood. 2) make it truly snap/zip in compatible, can't be that difficult or costly. Would highly recommend to others. | |

| jUST RECEIVED THE SHELL AND USED IT THREE TIMES- WORKS WELL WITH LAYERS UNDER IT FOR WARMTH- REALLY DOES FIT IN THE XXL SIZE- I AM 6'5' AND 230- PLENTY OF ROOM AND SLEEVES THAT ARE ACTUALLY LONG ENOUGH AND WIDE ENOUGH TO FIT OVER GLOVES-IF YOU DON'T LIKE BULKY GEAR- BUT WANT TO LAYER FOR WARMTH- THIS IS A GREAT SHELL | |

| This jacket could use some improvements. I normally wear an XL because most Columbia jackets run a bit on the larger side. I ordered an XL it was way to tight under the arms before layering. I sent it back for a 2XL and it was a little better but still to tight under the arms. I like to be able to zip in my liner you can't with this jacket. It's a personnel thing.Still overall a very nice coat but not for me. | |
