Stylish but not very warm

Very pretty coat, my 7-year-old daughter likes it. I wasn't able to find the temperature rating on this coat before I ordered it and my daughter is complaining about it not keeping her warm enough, I have had to dress her in layers under the coat. So far our winter temps have been pretty mild, so I know I will have to buy her a warmer coat for the days when the temps are 20 degrees or below. I was able to find the temp rating on it at another website after ordering it, and it's rated for high 20's/low 30's...that info would have been helpful to have on this site. Regardless, it is a very pretty coat and the dark pink color is vibrant and fun!

Great color!

My 7 year old daughter received this coat in a size small (8) for her birthday. The pink is a great color. Very vibrant and fun without being too bright. My daughter is petite to average size for her age and the coat fits perfectly for this winter with a little bit of room for bulkier winter clothes underneath. It is slightly long in the sleeves for her, though which is why I rated it 4 instead of 5. It is definitely not too bulky.

Super Jacket!

I got this for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it! It is warm and excellent quality. Everything about it fits her perfect. (I ordered a small, as she is a size 7/8 in shirts). She does not like bulky jackets, but will wear this one. We liked it so much we ordered one for her little sister!

I bought this coat for my 5 year old daughter and I bought the size 4-5 which fits nicely on here. The sleeves are a bit long but that's fine. She can always wear it next winter.

I bought this coat because I already have two North Faces so I decided to buy a Columbia jacket and fleece and I am happy that I did. Mostly because they cost way less.

This coat is warm, lightweight feeling and comfortable. Most of all it is thin enough to be safe in a car seat. Bulky coats are not safe in a car seat.

Good quality for the price point

Light weight and warm great for a hike or playing outside. Seemed to run a little tight under the arms had to go a size up.

This jacket is perfect for my daughter!

I bought this jacket for my daughter, I was looking for something quite light but also warm and mainly not so expensive. I got it.

Negative Reviews:

I really wanted to like this jacket - it is lightweight, warm, safe in the car seat (ie not too bulky or compressible), has space for a fleece or sweater underneath it and it has a hood that fits snugly around the face... but the sleeves are ridiculously long on the 2XS and XS sizes. My daughter does have long arms but her knuckles would have been by her knees before these sleeves fit. The sleeves on the 2XS (4 - 5 little kids) were just as long as the sleeves on the XS (6 - 6X) which makes me wonder if they used the same sleeve length for all the smaller sizes. That's odd, since young children's limbs grow dramatically from year to year. Sadly a total fail. :(

Not what i thought i was getting

Felt very thin, lightweight, not usual of this brandname.

Neutral Reviews:

Nice jacket, poorly stitched

Cute jacket but both pockets were completely unstitched on the inside. I can sew so I was able to finish the pockets myself. A bit expensive for a mid weight jacket but my nine year old granddaughter loves it. Definitely not for a New England winter but a great weight for fall or the car.

Nice look, my daughter liked it, but the front pocket ripped inside within a week or two. Also NO inside pockets.
