Comfort Zone 15' Lookout Ladder Treestand Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Nice.

I needed a treestand to hunt near my Mom's house for the week I was visiting. I didn't want the work of a hang on stand; so opted for the ladder stand. Couldn't believe the quality for only [$] I'm psyched. Stand was solid and sturdy for a late season bowhunt. One other review noticed the ladder braces do rattle but quieted them with some sticks. Stand was perfect for the week I had to hunt. Was also a great height.

Best value available.

This is not a luxury stand, but for the price it is the best value I have seen. It is easy to assemble and easy to move. It is comfortable and stable. They have changed a little over the years, but I have been using these for many years and they are very durable. If you are looking for a great basic stand, for [$] this is the one.

Ladder Treestand

Nice stand for the money. I got it on clearance for [$], so it is a good deal after deer season. The connecting pins rattle, so like another said I just wrapped them with tape. It could use a foot on the bottom to keep it from sinking in and filling the leg up with mud.

Great Stand

Easy setup, easy break down. Once the stand is fully setup it is very sturdy and strong. This stand includes the full body harness and the ratchet strap to attach to a tree. I gave this stand 4 stars purely for the seat, just add a cushion and your done, easy fix.

Good product for the price

I purchased 4 of these on sales. All four stands are in the woods and are a very good value for the price. Seat could be a little more comfortable and foot rest a little larger, but for the price it is a good product. Sturdy and easy to install.

Easy Setup and Cheap Price

I set it up right when it came to the door in less than 25 minutes. I would suggest having a socket wrench to tighten up the bolts. Great stand, but only downfall is the small platform to put your feet on.

Perfect scouting stand

I used this stand for scouting and it was perfect for the job. I like to bow hunt so I needed a light but sturdy solution. This is a very affordable and basic configuration for scouting. Light enough to move on-the-fly.

great price

Absolutely love the seat on it. Pins rattle a bit but nothing some tape wont take care of. Platform is a little small but not horrible. I have left in woods for 4 years and never had a problem with it.

Great product for the money!

Dollar for dollar the best tree star I've had. Easy to put up and very stable. I would defiantly recommend this to a friend. Works great with the optional shooting rail.

Negative Reviews:

Decent for Price

This is ok. Not very good for bow hunting. The platform is too small to brace for a standing-up shot.

The section of teeth that grab the tree is not very wide. On a bigger tree, this stand will not be very secure. Make certain to tighten the rathet strap. I used two of them. The stand fell a little when I first used it and I added a second ratchet strap to prevent that.

gets cheaper every year

The platform for your feet is so small, it scared my Brother. The seat is now cloth, and you can't lean against it to brace yourself like you could when it was metal. Scary.
rob at Dick's Sporting Goods on 11/11/2011

Climb up and then sit on a good hang on.

Seat to platform is for a very short person, knees up around your chest. Small platform impossibe to manuver your size 12 around on.

Should of kept it the way it was

New sling seat very uncomfortable, tree stand is nice but should of kept seat the way it use to be. and platform is smaller.

Go back to metal seat!!!

I have 17 of these stands on my property, but they're all from previous years' with the metal seat. Rodents have a "feast" on ratchet straps as it is....now see how long before the new sling seat gets eaten. NOT GOOD! This creates too much of a surprise at 0-dark-thirty AM!!!
I would suggest a slightly larger foot platform and metal seat...you can always use the detachable cushion for those long hunts.

Comfort Zone Ladder stand

The height from the platform to the seat is to short for tall people.
Platform is to small
