Comprop Evinrude Johnson Outboard/Omc Cobra Stern Drive Propellers -
Comprop delivers four-blade performance for less than a three-blade aluminum prop! Used as original equipment by many top-quality boat builders. Why? Testing shows durable Comprop propellers accelerate quicker, run faster, corner better and are smoother on most boats than three-blade aluminum props yet cost 30% less! Made in a computer generated mold assuring each blade is exactly alike. This process – and the four-blade design – results in unmatched smoothness and overall performance that ordinary three-blade aluminum props can't match. During soft-bottom/low-speed operation, the composite material resisted dings, folds and blunting common to aluminum props. During a high-speed prop strike, the blades are designed to break, absorbing much of the shock and reducing the likelihood of costly drivetrain repairs. When replacing a prop, use one of similar size and pitch for similar performance. Mounting hardware not included. Made in USA.

  • Composite construction allows blades to break upon impact

  • Four-blades for improved acceleration, cornering and speed
  • Costs 30% less than aluminum

Comprop Evinrude Johnson Outboard/Omc Cobra Stern Drive Propellers Reviews:

good quality

Well I'm replacing my first one after using it since June 2011. It seemed to work very well, and while I don't have any hard data to back it up it seems like I got a bit more speed and power out of this then the aluminum prop I was using before. Hardly remember how the aluminum prop feels at this point.
Was actually hoping for a slightly bigger or greater pitched prop because I get more out of this then the aluminum one and am very close to red-lining RPMs with this one.
Friend drove the prop through a bit of dirt earlier today and took a couple big chunks out of it, I wasn't in the boat at the time to see the exact area so I don't know what it would have done to an aluminum prop for comparison. Buying a second one without a second thought (still have aluminum spares)

Awesome!!! Did not disappoint.

Boat leaps out of the water faster than the 3 blade SS prop. And punching from half to full throttle is like hitting a passing gear in a muscle car. The 140hp rated prop is so light it spins up real fast is what I am guessing. Wanted a bigger prop on a 115hp outboard and she still hits 5900rpm. Also handles real nice in a curve, good grip. Great deal for twice the money. Wish they made one for the 225. Good Luck God Bless and Godspeed...

Cheaper than a new aluminum

I just bought my third one. I fish a river so the damage isn't a matter of if's when. My first one lasted for 4 years my last one the first time out.....That's just the way it goes. performance wise, the boat sits higher in the water and turns without blowing out. The prop is worth its weight in gold to me .
