Ruined Paint and Chrome trim

I was so excited about this cover. Looked good and durable out of the bag. Did plenty of research, thought I made a good decision.
Well, after only two weeks with my truck under this cover, it rubbed (due to wind movement) all of the corners in contact ruining my paint job. It also rubbed the chrome off a grill trim piece exposing the black plastic underneath. Fortunately, Cabelas was extremely helpful in the return and refund process. I can't say enough about Cabelas and their customer service dept. It was a real please resolving this issue as I was so nervous about having to go through return process with a third party vendor. In conclusion, don't get this cover that will be used as an outside cover that will see wind.

Coverking Truck cover

The cover developed a rip in the middle of the Bed section, after only being on the truck for two and a half weeks. (No wind storms, no rain ) The cover is no where near a "Semi-Custom Fit". My truck looks like it's wering a diaper with a load in it's pants. However, Cabela's Customer Service was quick to acquire a replacement from the manufacturer.

lightweight car/truck cover - not for outdoor use

I purchased a lightweight cover for my 1977 Chevrolet Suburban. It lasted 2 years in outdoor use before it began to wear through.
The truck is parked next to the house, mostly out of the wind, in the Pacific NW. It rains a lot and we have moss issues. The cover worked well for the first season, especially after I clamped the front to the bumper so the wind wouldn't blow it off. Mirror pockets are a must, as is a grommet on each side at the bottom center to tie down the cover.
My Suburban has clearance lights on the roof just behind the windshield and an old-style vertical bug deflector. The cover wore through at these spots and at the top windshield molding. I have since replaced it with a cover of heavier material.
In my opinion lightweight covers are not advisable for outdoor use in wet, windy climates. The cover did keep the moss off the truck and was fairly easy to install and remove. I never tried to put it back in its box.
I purchased a lightweight cover for my car that is parked indoors and it works well for that purpose.
Suggestions - purchase a quality cover and reinforce areas that might wear through if the cover is stretched tight. The directions with my new cover suggest cloth duct tape. Mirror pockets obviate the need to reposition mirrors to install the cover or drive the vehicle. Tie down and clamp as necessary.
