Crkt Lake 111-Z Series Knives -
Ron Lake, father of the modern folding knife, has reinvented the lockback folder with his patented Lock Back Safety (L.B.S.™) that locks the blade with rock-hard immovability. Slide the small L.B.S. button forward to lock it open for safety during rigorous cutting. Lock it closed to prevent accidental in-pocket or in-belt openings. Made of premium 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, the blade is a classic drop point with a flat grind for strength and a brushed finish. Dual thumb studs give fast left- or right-hand opening, and a lockback release offers an easy one-handed close. The flat design houses stainless steel liners and lightweight, injection-molded, glass-filled, nylon scales for an ultrarigid frame. Handle features a basket-weave textured grip. Stainless steel clip with brushed finish. Includes denim carry case with belt loop. All knives are available with a full-length, razor-sharp edge or a razor-sharp edge teamed with a serrated edge. Imported.
Blade styles: Combo Edge.

Great Work Knife

I lost the first one of these that I owned and was sick when I realized that it was gone. These seem to be indestructible and hold their edge extremely well. If you need a safe, reliable work knife, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. My new one arrived today and I was happy to find that it feels as solid and well made as the first. Keep up the good work, CRKT and Cabela's!

Handy pocket knife

It's a very sharp, handy little knife that fits well in a pants pocket. Nice safety feature that, although makes it not as easy to whip out fast, makes it safer for kids to be around.

knife

Good little knife. Seems strong enough.

Negative Reviews:

Broken in the package.

I returned it about 5 minutes after I purchased it. I took it out of the package and found that the sliding mechanism that is supposed to lock the blade was missing a little BB that is supposed to prevent the sliding lock from moving on its own. I do not think I would buy a CRKT with this mechanism ever again.
