Crkt Nathan's Knife Kit -
Introducing a son or daughter to the fundamentals of knife safety and education is a tradition for those who enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Award-winning knife and tool designer Glenn Klecker’s son Nathan had the idea for a pre-cut softwood knife kit for young people, so it was named in his honor. The pre-cut, easily assembled kit will open the conversation about responsible knife ownership in a fun way. As you supervise this woodworking project, you can impart the priceless lesson that while it is a useful and valuable tool, a knife also carries with it the duty and obligation to be used and carried safely. The knife can be assembled by press fit, or sanded, glued, sealed or stained to be decorated as your child sees fit. The slightly oversized pieces were designed for small hands, and the pride of making it together will be a lifelong memory for you both. Having the basic build and features of a real knife gives your child an opportunity to develop knife-handling skills. Complete instructions and knife-safety education tips are included.

Awesome for kids

We have 6 kids (ages 11-3) and I bought each of them one for Christmas. We had a great time putting them together and they truly have been helpful for teaching them how to properly handle a knife, dos and donts, etc. Well worth it!

Great gift

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Thought it would be a good project for grandpa and grandson. Nice kit for his first knife and it seems safe enough.

Great for kids!

Got this for my 6 yr old grandson. Not only fun to make but is also great for teaching knife safety. Works like the real thing.

Easy assembly

My 10 yr. old grandson put this together by himself before I could get a chance to help him.
