Great Camera!

These are basically the little brother to the Attack. Nice camera and runs on AA batteries. I like the easy to use dial to set the camera up. It takes still pictures or a still and video. I have some amazing clips from this camera! I have several of them and enjoy them immensely. It has "centered subject technology" which I found out means that the sensor triggers in the center of the field of view so you get great pictures instead of half a deer when it first appears. Once I learned to point the camera directly at the point where I want it to take pictures I am getting many more usable images with it. Even some cool birds in flight and running animals because of the quarter second trigger speed.

Negative Reviews:

I really screwed up by purchasing this camera. I have an origional Cuddeback Capture and I love it! I was thuroughly dissapointed in the Ambush. I have had it for a month now on my bear bait mounted right next to my Capture for comparison. It will not take a night picture unless an animal places its nose on the motion sensor. My capture had 250 great images day and night compared to the 9 images on my Ambush that were all daytime. Cuddeback really lost my love on this camera. I think I will try the Attack Flash as a last chance for Cuddeback before I switch camera brands. i do not reccommend the Ambush. Attack sounds like it is a better option.
