Light, loopable, stashable, and long enough to lock up a couple bikes at a time, the Cutter Messenger Cable Lock leaves a little extra room in your bag for your portable bo…, I mean water-cooled tobacco pipe. Hardened steel construction deters any thief without a lot of time and some serious hardware, and the lock housing grants more peace of mind than your skid-bare rear tire. Cutter included two keys so you’ll always one in one of your two pair of cog-stained, thread-bare jeans.

Outstanding for the Money

I can't believe I got this from the outlet for just over $6 (with the 50% off deal). The cable is thinner than most, but still plenty strong, and the lock seems to be pretty good quality. The mount is quite nice - if you AREN'T taking the look with you, you barely even notice the lock mount on your bike, so it doesn't look silly. Really convenient thought when you are using it.

Pretty neat cable lock | |

For the price, this lock can't be beat. It includes a nice seatpost/frame mount. The lock can be easily removed from the mount without actually having to fumble around for your key to unlock it (unlike some other cable locks). You also don't need the key to lock it. You simply close it and it self-locks.

photo 2 in the detailed view is the bike mount. very handy when you don't have a bag. The cable is long enough to fit 4 bikes around 1 lamp post and the key can be operated while intoxicated. good job cutter, keep up the good work.

simple tight coil and light.

I got it because it was cheap and has a tight coil. Im sure it will take a few seconds to steal if you wanted to, but this is to keep low-lifes from walking away because fixed gear was left untethered.

Nice Lock Great Price | |

This seems to be a quality lock, and you can go wrong with the price. The lock holder is secure and the lock will not fall off of it.

Love my Cutter Messenger Cable Lock. Thought the name was a little ironic but it keeps my bikes where I left them.

good little lock | |

Nice lock. 3 stars because the plastic piece where the cable inserts seems pretty cheap and the cable diameter was smaller than expected. Its gets the job done though, and the bike mount works really well with a nice quick release.
