Turn your den into a sweatshop with the CycleOps Mag+ Trainer w/Adjuster. The Mag+ sets your cycle up in seconds thanks to a quick release and easy-to-level adjustable legs. CycleOps gives you a range of five resistance levels, from boardwalk cruising to the pain-cave equivalent of cresting a mountain. Some trainers require you to stop and dismount to adjust the amount of resistance, but not the Mag+. A handlebar-mounted shifter lets you vary your workout—without missing a beat.
I wouldn't go out on a limb and say I enjoy training indoors. I don't spend that much time in the winter wanting to ride my bike in a basement watching old movies. However, when I am feeling this way, I want a trainer that won't break the bank or be as loud as a vacuum cleaner. The CycleOps Mag Trainer fits these small needs nicely. It is inexpensive for most trainers, especially of this quality. It offers a strong, sturdy base so you can crank out sprint after sprint. Installing wheels is rather straight forward and requires minimal futzing. The magnetic resistance is realistic, relatively quiet, and offers several resistance settings. I end up picking one and leaving it so I don't find the need for the handlebar adjustment necessary. My personal preference, but I could understand where it would be nice.
I have used this several times and can't say anything negative. For the price you can't beat it. I have several more expensive trainers and this one performs as good or better.
