I bought these 7 months ago, and I take good care of them (I always store them in the case, clean them at least once a week with solution and special cloth to avoid scratches)- no problems yet. I did have them adjusted when I bought them. I love the shape and the way they compliment my face. And I LOVE that they are polarized! The only thing that I would change is the weight- they can be a little heavy if I wear them 5+ hours straight. Besides that I love them. And yes- they were expensive, but I don't mind that because 1) you get what you pay for- much better quality than the random $20 pairs I was buying before, 2) polarized= less squinting= preserving your eyes and the skin around them :)
I spent many hours in a SH last August and walked out with DG DD2192. I've really enjoyed that pair but wanted another option for a more "classic" look that wasn't so sporty and fitted to my face. I tried on many other brands, styles, and colors. Eventually I ended up with the same thing I already had - D&G Tortoise shades. These aren't nearly as lightweight as the DD2192 but fit really nicely on my face and, even though the frames are larger, stay off my cheeks (necessary!). I'm still feeling them out but find it hard to believe there's another pair that could beat these shades in style and price. Guess I'm officially a D&G sunglass fan!
it mom's birthday and it's always a hassle trying to get my dad to get her something nice. but i'll get to that in my next review, hehe. when i narrowed my choices down to two, innitially i couldn't just leave these there oh no no no. they're wrap around, so they go easy on the face. the polarized lenses protect the peepers and the whole package makes your face just stand out. these shades make you feel good, sophisticated, even when you walk out in jeans and flip flops.
i'm awesome in these sunglasses.
alright, so i was awesome before, but behind these chic, stylish oversized black frames, i am so much more awesome. and mysterious. and i can be cool in the background keeping my eyes on everything without having to make eye contact. especially with people who are not awesome. before i was just a wallflower. now i'm invited to a bunch of cool parties and have very cool friends. i can't help but think that these glasses had something to do with that.
Just what I was looking for
Very stylish, and a nice size on the face - not too small or too large. I like that they are polarized, which is a necessity in Florida. They also fit close to the face to keep out glare but not so close as to be hot or uncomfortable. These sunglasses are just what I've been looking for and worth every penny.
Love them until the emblem popped out!
Love these sunglasses but just like another reviewer said on here the D&G emblem popped out after 2 months!! Got them about 3 hours away so am going to have to call customer service to see if i can ship them to either get fixed or replaced. Hopefully it won't be too big of an issue with getting them fixed :(
Stylish but plastic
I have had these glasses for only a few months and i already have to exhange them because the D&G on the left side popped out and is missing and I scratched the lens when i dropped it in a parking lot. I love the style...just wish they were more durable. Im still gonna exchange for the same pair. :-)
Love rocking the D & G glasses
I love these sunglasses. The way they fit my face makes me feel confident while also giving me maximum eye coverage. They are comfortable to wear but also provide the classic look that I can enjoy on the way to work or while hanging with friends.
I absolutely LOVE these sunglasses!! They are of excellent quality and the stye and color go with any and every outfit!
You can wear them with anything from a sundress to the infamous "little black dress" to jeans and a t-shirt. VERY versatile and chic
These sunglasses are just perfect. Timeless and classic are the words that come to mind every time I put them on. Lightweight and strong at the same time. I cannot not wear polarized lenses and these fit the bill.
